Overview
The T99 pistols are still too loud and hurt my ears. Until this is fixed I use a free program called Sound Lock 1.3.2. With this I can limit the maximum sound volume. When set up right, the marker is just above the max. loudness I want to hear over my speakers or headset, so in game when something has an extreme volume like those pistols, it limits the sound and stays below my setting. This wont make it perfect but one can reduce the pain by setting a maximum volume altogether. I think they fixed the T Rex roar, that used to also be one of the main reasons I chose this free software to limit it.Edit: If the main game volume is set to full blast, 100%, the volumes are altogether more balanced and you wont notice these problems. But if you are like me and want to understand your friends over teamspeak or music in the background you may have set the game volume lower, then this is the fix for you so you dont get extreme volumes while playing from the game.EDIT: WEAPON SOUNDS ARE PATCHED, THEY FIXED IT, but this guide may still be useful for someone who wants to set up a maximum volume altogether.
