In this guide, we will describe how to form what i call “man-mode” unification nations. From Romania to India and to even the Byzantine Empire, I’ll be here to explain how you can form them all in 1 guide! So get your weapons ready, your brains on tight and prepare to have your mind blown away!
How to form Yugoslavia
is the nation you want to go with. With cores up to the north in Austria to it’s opressed brothers still chained to the declining Ottoman Empire, Serbia has a wide range of options.
Ally with the Russians. They will be your key protector and will assist you with getting back your cores in the Balkans. This procces takes awhile with the truces and all. But sooner or later, you should now have all of Southern Serbia owned by you. Serbia may look bigger, but your still lacking one thing: a Acces to the sea. If you are able to get Ottoman Monte♥♥♥♥♥, you should now go for Monte♥♥♥♥♥ itself. Keep in mind the imfamy it takes to annex a small but civilized nation. The last suggested thing to do is to take over the region of Bosnia. This might make your Serbia look ugly, but don’t worry, your almost there to making that sleek country we know.
*update: Serbia now has cores on Bosnia, so you could just do a crises over that.
Now that the Ottoman threat has been alliminated, the next target to go for is Austria. They will be a bit tougher, so ensure that your freindly ally Russia is still your aiiy. This part is one of the harest parts about forming Yugoslavia. From this point, you can eather use your national focas points to create a crises and hope that your big-brother Russia supports you can evently the crises will be resolved with you having your cores in Northern Serbia given back (only in HoD) or you can use was and conquest to achive your goal.
With all your cores now finaly in your hands, you are almost done forming Yugoslavia! Now all you need to do is take Cortia and Slovania from Austria. At this point, if Italy has formed in your game, keep in mind that they will gain cores on Slovania and southern Cortia as well, so if they end up taking it 1st, bracde yourselfs for war with the Italians.
As soon as you’ve gotten all of the last needed territoies, you’ll by then hopefuly be a great power or at least in the seconday power stage. Start building up your naval power, assuming you haven’t allready. Or if you have, spam abunch of prestige techs. Youll need to be a great power to become Yugoslavia. Once you’e reached great power statice, you can become Yugoslavia. Congratulations!
How to form Poland–Lithuania
that can re-form this once great commonwealth. It will take a real man to use this tiny city state to re-create the grand empire. Or, if your a person who does’nt like taking risks or are not ready to go man-mode, you can always release
from the Russian Empire. Releasing it from Prussia is another option, if you want a starting coastline.
Just like in forming Yugoslavia, there are two ways you can go about forming this large nation. If your playing as Poland, you can use your national focas to cause tensions in Prussian owned Polished cores and force a crises to happen and hope that you’ll end up getting your cored providences back (for HoD) or you can do it the hard war, fighting it out with a great-power ally like Russia.
First priotity is to get back your cores in Prussia. Considering that they have one of the most advanced armies in continental europe, you’ll be facing a real cookie on this one. Get a good allie like the Russians on your side whe fighting, otherwise you’ll be plumped into a polish sausage. Keep fighting Prussia for as long as possible. You’ll also notice that by taking these cores, you’ll prevent Prussia from forming the North German Confederation. Hehe. DOn’t forget that you also have cores in Austria, so go for them too.
At this point, you can start setting up some colonies like this:
Now the most hardest part is freeing your cultural cores in wars of liberation. Poland-Lithuania has cores on half of Ukrain, all of Bellorus, the balitic states and parts of Russia. Getting these parts will requice extream skill, but not without a ally. With Russia not turned into the enemy, call upon your former enemy, Prussia, to assist. IF they do, this will help you expand your little Polish State and turn it into the commonwealth.
Once you become a great power, and all your cores have been captured, you can form Poland-Lithuania!
How to form Babylon

The old nation of Babylon, older than the Byzantine Empire it’self, can be formed as well! The nation of
is able to peform this. Iraq needs to be a great power, but also needs just 2 TECHS! ( Advanced Metallurgy and The Historical Theory.) Once you research these two techs, you can form Babylon!
Also take notice at the party names 😛 They seem to repersent the roles of those who built the tower.
How to form the Byzantine Empire
This is by far one of the most extream and exciting unification nations I’ve heard of. The nation of
can form the Byzantine Empire if it is able to annex all of the Ottoman Europan and Asian land. And yes, i mean all of it. But fear not! It is actully possible to do so, even as a weak power. Just allie with Russia. It’s quite simple. Russia will act as your sword and do most of the hard work for you, while you can assist in minor sisuations. If you manage to get all their lands, you can be the former Greek Empire!
How to form India
is the only nation in the Indian sup-continent that is not only not a puppet of the UK, but actully pocceses the millitary strength to challenge British superioty in India.
The 1st suggested thing to do is to take on the minor Pakistani kingdoms. Most of them are weak, and under your superioty, you can annexe them all in a matter of time to make Punjab almost look like modern Pakistan. But don’t stop there! Take on Afganistan and the central asian states and make Punjab almost as big as Persia! Then from there, you can begain the procces of blding up your armed forces and prepare to westernize.
Once you’ve westernized, you can finaly begain taking chunks from British India. Your goal is to kick the British out of India completly, at least, the parts they directly control. And when that’s done, war the UK to release all of thier puppet states in India. Finaly, if your a great power in this point, sphere the minor indian states. This will all cause them to join you when you form India.
How to form Romania
. Chained to the declining Ottoman Empire as puppets, these two nations have almost no hope of forming Romainia…until you came along!
To attempt the 1st step to forming Romania, you’d have to fight in a war with the Ottomans yourselvs with almost no chance of Austria or even Russian assistance. The 2nd though is to become a great power yourself, wich is unlikly to happen. Spaming prestige techs may help you out, but then that may not help.
Then you can try and build up a army. Even if you manage to raise up a few more brigades, you still won’t be able to reach GP status.
The last thing you can do is make a international crises in one of your core regons. This is probubbly your best bet in my opinion. see if they work. Eather way, you need to free yourself from the Ottoman empire and become a free and independent nation!
