Why is Capri Sun a God in this game?

Hi-Rez made, on the 4th of August 2015, the conscious decision to add a Bug (pun intended) to the game that prevents you from killing other Gods.
After they realized, that they were not able to fix it, they made it into an ability for a dung beetle and called it a day.

What can this fat Ant do for me?

If you don´t play Guardians, because the Meta changed, or because you don´t get a high enough K/D with them to momentarily forget what a disappointment you are to your parents, KNOWING what Khepri can do is still very helpful!
Here´s a list of what that guy can do for you:

Passive: Khepri gives you a shield just by standing close to him that almost covers the emotional damage when an Enemy spams VEL VEL VEL after winning
When you see a big yellow Orb passing through you, it will reduce all damage for 3 seconds (unless it´s from an enemy Khepri, then it just hurts and removes protections)
Khepri can root enemies, but does not cripple them from afar, this makes 90% of the Gods use their dash/jump/whatever. (the other 10% don´t have a dash and just stand still staring at you judgingly for like 2 seconds)
Khepri can pluck enemies with a dash and pull them towards your team (or out of your Ultimate you spent 20 seconds setting up)
And most importantly: Khepri can give you the Scarabs Blessing. This will add a visible bright effect around your God, accelerates your movement speed, and more importantly: YOU WILL BE REVIVED AT KHEPRIS SIDE WHEN YOU DIE (unless you are executed by e.g. Thanatos, in that case tough luck)
This means, while the Objective of the game is not to die until your team wins, the moment you are getting low on HP and see this effect around you: Absolutely, positively try to die as soon as possible.
In most cases you get away from the battle more quickly and respawn with more HP instantly.

I hate the Beatles

After all is said and done Khepri is not almighty and has a relatively long Cooldown on his Ultimate, so don´t expect to get revived every time. Also you should consider if your life is even worth saving before complaining why he did nothing after you charged in 1v5 against enemies 5 levels above you, because you went afk to warm up Pizza Rolls.

All in all Khepri is the most literal Guardian in the game as of now. However, if you should find yourself in a game with Khepri as an enemy, be warned that while he does not do that much damage per se, he can just pull you into his tower if you are not careful.

When do I kill though?

You want to play Khepri now? Here´s how:

Basic Combo:

Root the enemy with your 3.
Roll the literal sun through them with 2.
Snatch him with 1.
Punch him?
Wow he doesn´t have more offense
Uhm…
Hope your teammates hit him?
THEY DO!
You still had DOT on him from your 2. nice
Kill secured
What do you mean Guardians should not steal kills?

Do I have to buy shoes 3 times?

Khepri should be played rather defensively, complimenting that would of course items that strengthen his defense.

Khepri should start off by buying shoes, then defense against both damage types (in order of necessity) and then something that gives his rolling sun a bit of punch.
With “should” I of course mean, that I recommend playing him this way, don´t listen to me or the meta, go wild!

Here´s what goes wrong all the time while playing Khepri, but you will never admit to being your fault:

Who even am I?
you will forget at least once per round that you can revive teammates as Khepri THIS HAPPENS
Just pretend your ult was on cooldown and just came back this second
I need to revive myself!
Sometimes, it is helpful to use your ult on yourself, however: you do not move while being revived, so all those pesky ♥♥♥♥♥♥ enemies are still around you welcoming your second coming/death.
(It is much more helpful to revive a teammate and run away while they kill him a second time anyway)

Why are you not dying?
When you ult a teammate and they try to run away anyway, try bodyblocking them. They will not thank you for it and most likely die because your blessing has almost run out, but it will teach that little ♥♥♥♥ to die when you tell him to die
Wait who are you?
Sometimes your teammates stand so close together, that it becomes hard to accurately ult the right target, if this happens just ult anyways. They should know to run away from teammates when they are dying and it is completely their fault when you miss them.
