[UPDATED] Mid Khepri Guide/Build – A Gentleman’s Fight

Overview

In this guide I will teach you how to properly utilize Khepri in the middle lane. My carefully crafted guide will make you win** league matches with ease, and dominate your lane.**Win is defined as self-achievement in this case.[Update 3.9: Nothing has changed in this build/guide. Khepri is still a viable mid-laner, and even has potential to play as a jungler with the inclusion of the fire troll things.]

Introduction

Khepri is an Egyptian God who, in the current meta, is defined as a “support” class god. He excels in assisting others kill, but in this guide we will be going against the meta. I have found, by my own tests, that using Khepri in the middle lane is more viable then any other God. His support capabilites are far below Bakasura’s, but his potential as a mid laner who has amazing ability to gank is exceedingly useful in your team. This guide will teach you the skills, the items, and the technique involving the use of Khepri in the middle lane.

Item Build

(Images coming when I feel less lazy.)

Your items are a key part to your sucess as a mid-lane Khepri. We will be making full use of his (grab) Q’s kill potential.

Starting Items
  • Meditation
  • Shoes (Lvl 1) – Get shoes of focus later on
  • Potions

Next five items after Shoes of Focus:
Buy whatever you want. Khepri is too op right now, especially in middle lane. I will be teaching you all you need to know to thrive, so don’t worry about silly things like items. Just buy everything under the “starter items” tab in the shop. You’ll be fine with those.

Gameplay

Your sucess in the middle lane is dependent on your skill. Fortunately for you, khepri doesn’t require much skill. Just level up your 1 to max, so that you can pull enemies into your tower, then run away and cower behind the tower until your cooldown is back up. After getting to level five, proceed to level up your 4 (Ult) so that you can revive yourself (and only yourself). With level 6, you should be allowed to fight the fire giant. Since even the great Khepri requires help every once and awhile, ask solo lane to help you with the fight, and when it seems you are close to dying, use your ult on yourself (If your solo lane buddy is about to die to fire giant, don’t save him with your ult, since you need that for yourself).

After this, since you have fire giant, enemy team will immediately vvgg and surrender, terrified of your power despite them probably having been fine.

Conclusion – An ever expanding guide

As I learn more about Khepri, and as he is updated throughout the patches, this guide will be expanded. If you would like to contribute your knowledge to this guide, then by all means post a comment and I will make your a contributor. This guide will be crafted by the community, for the community, so that everyone can understand the devastating power a mid khepri is capable of.
