HOW TO: Hide your HUD in H&G – Easy Method

■ EnglishHow do I hide the HUD/UI? Is it possible? With this easy tutorial you know how! Read this if you want to take good screenshot or record some neat H&G gameplay!

1. Enable console (Skip this if you have console on)

The console is a command-line interface for the advanced configuration of games. By default console is disabled in H&G, so You can’t open it.

You CAN enable console by doing the following:

You CAN get the console back by doing the following:
In the file client.ini add
application {
enable_console=true
} ”

Default location:
C:Program Files (x86)SteamSteamappscommonHeroes & GeneralsClient.ini

Open client.ini and paste this code

application {
enable_console=true
}

This is Client.ini

So the file should look something like this:

2. Console command

To open console You need to press tilde key (~ found under the Esc key and over the tab key) on Your keyboard.
With tabulator key You can see hints to commands.
To separate many commands in one line use semicolon.
To send commands just press Enter.

■ Console

Type following code to console (ingame)

(hides your HUD)

(enables your HUD)

■ Left picture HUD On, Right picture HUD off. Great for taking screenshots ! But not good for gaming..

I recommend you to restart H&G if you use gui.disable 1/0 middle of the game. After this command there will be a lot of glitches, e.g. your map won’t work.
If you wan’t to hide your weapon, use granades. Just throw them to forrest. Not to your teammates! This will hide your weapon!
