The Strategy
You are playing in Co-op, so in order to beat the game in Brutal you need a good partner. Make sure to read the entire guide. I tested this guide 4 times and it worked all the 4 times i played with my friends.
The Killer
Start as Bio-weapon and with Rurophobe gene. No other genes are required.
Choose China as starting country.
When you start, get Rash, Abscesses, Skin Lesions and Nausea.
Wait for DNA and get (in order) Vomiting, Droplets 1&2, Bird 1, Diarrhoea, Birds 2, Livestock 1, Cold resistance 1, Drug Resistance 1, Heat Resistance 1, Cold Resistance 2, Heat Resistance 2, Drug Resistance 2.
Now the cure should start and about 5%~15%, forget about that, get Necrosis and Total Organ Failure. The cure progress will increase but don’t worry. Get Blood 1&2, Livestock 2 and if the cure progress go over 85%, get Genetic Reshuffle. If your partner is doing good, the labs should be almost destroyed by now. Get Unscheduled Flight and fly to uninfected islands. If you fail to spread, devolve Total Organ Failure now and get Infect Boost.

The Support
Start with Unstable Inception. No other genes are required.
Get Epistaxis, Tumours, Fever, Coughing and then Unscheduled Flight.
Fly from your teammate’s start country or this guide will not work. Fly to these countries: Brazil, USA, Central Africa and Spain.
After that, buy the infection gifts and keep flying to non infected islands. when your partner cure progress start to increase, get Genetic Sacrifice.
