Achievements listed chronologically by the order in which I earned them, with tips (kinda walkthrough sometimes) how to get them.
Act 1
Start the trip
You will get spores from the strange man at the beginning of the game, just eat them
Make bed
Make your bed in your room after you wake up
Get a pearpod
Pick up the pearpod from the desk in your living room
Get an apple
Pick up an apple from the basket in your living room
Check newsfeed
Check up the newsfeed in your pearpod
That will be your 1/3 newsfeed check, you will need to check the RSS newsfeed from your pearpod at least once in each act to get another achievement :
Read all the news
Play ghostface
Play „Ghostface” from your pearpod. Ghostface is a simple minigame.
Get a score of 5000 in Ghostface
You need to get a score of 5,000 points.
This minigame is a Judge Dredd Beat ’em up reference. Goal of the game is pretty simple : Beat as many enemies as possible with only one life.
It might be hard to get 5,000 at the beginning but it’s way easier if you will get to know a little about your enemies then practice a bit against each one. It’s good tactics to beat enemies as fast as you can, and try to keep them separately.
Get a score of 12000 in Ghostface
You need to get a score of 12,000 points.
It might take a few more tries but it’s possible. Remember to take out your enemies as fast as you can, so you will keep them separately. You should stay at the center of the screen and take out the enemies as they come to you. You can also press and hold space to attack as fast as possible. It’s also good to know that the bigger enemies have more health and deal more damage but with reduced attack speed and reach. Small enemies are fast and deadly, but you will Beat ’em up almost in no time.
Change the light
Close/Open the shutters in your living room
Lose
You need to lose the game for the first time… you will get it easily, don’t worry… if don’t know how to lose just try to do the achievement below
Not dress properly
WARNING: It will be game over, so prepare yourself to start your game from the beginning.
Exit to the street completely naked, to do so just exit WITHOUT putting on, or picking up your clothes from the ground in your bedroom.
Pop the Prog
You need to install the “casual prog” you can get it from the cabinet in your bathroom (if you can’t pick it up, then you need to check up your “calendar” from the pearpod and then try again).
Look at yourself
Interact with the mirror in your bathroom at least 3 times.
Look carefully
Exit your apartment and head up to the roof by using the elevator, then scroll up your view all the way up.
Get a cornbun
Exit your apartment then go to street level by using the elevator, then enter the „Woopie Mart”, and purchase the „corn bun.”
Check out the picture
Exit your apartment, then go to street level and use the bus stop (If you can’t, then you should purchase bus pass at the „Woopie Mart”) and travel to „Exchange Square”
Now enter the „Exchange Square Station” then go to skywalk and look at the billboard of „Windows Edge” (It’s a reference to Faith from Mirror’s Edge)
Be annoying
In the same location as „I have Faith” achievement – precisely at the skywalk you can met „red catsuit chick” if she’s not there she will appear later; try talking to her way more than enough (3 times will be enough… really…)
Get 10 kills in mojojoe
mojoje is another minigame that you can get from Tim at „Tims Arcade Heaven” it’s required to talk with him to proceed with the story, so don’t worry about missing this one, you will get access to mojojoe from your pearpod just as with the Ghostface
Get 30 kills in mojojoe.
I recommend to move as much as possible and avoid enemies to collect as much attack charges as you can, then try to kill more than 2 enemies at once, because it’s a waste to use one charge on one enemy, you will see that the spawn rate of charges is a bit too slow, anyway if you waste it you will see that you will be swarmed by enemies easily…. Good Luck!
Complete the first act
You need to get to Cloudbreak Station and talk to Jenny to complete Act I
Exit your apartment, then go to street level and use the bus stop (If you can’t, then you should purchase bus pass at the „Woopie Mart”) and travel to „Exchange Square”
Now enter the „Exchange Square Station” then go to „skytram passage” then „skytram station” and talk with „Skytram operator” he will let you know that you don’t have enough Credits to purchase a monthly pass, so now you should back and head up to the skywalk then go to the „Glendale Point” and enter „Tims Arcade Heaven” you got a friend there that will help you out with your „Money Issue„ so you will be able to buy skytram monthly pass, just after you travel by skytram you will get the achievement for completing Act I.
Act 2
Read all the news
Check your newsfeed that will be your 2 out of 3 checks needed for the achievement.
Have a “dead end” conversation
Exit cloudbreak point skytram station and use „City-Express” to go to the „Azur Plaza”
Now try to talk with Stephen Mok a few times (four attempts should be enough)
Get something from Anne
From „Azur Plaza” go to the „Me 4 U” (on your left) and talk with Anne; you will get something from her (and the achievement as well…)
Fix Poochie
You will get it for fixing Poochie.
Use a prog hack
Travel to „Exchange Square” using City-Express
Now enter the „Exchange Square Station” then head up to the „Skywalk” then go to the „Glendale Point” and from here use stairway on the right to go down.
You will be in the park right now, from here enter „The Terrace” then go deeper into „Terrace social centre” If you look around, you will met strange girl from earlier today, then you should go after her to the „Skydeck” after conversation with „Yukiko” you will get a prog to install. (standard prog hack)
Complete the second act
After the conversation with Yuki and installing the prog; you should finally check Jenny apartment, and well… something that you will find here will lead you to the end of the chapter at the moment in which you will be forced to use emergency exit.
Act 3
Read all the news
You need to check the RSS newsfeed from your pearpod at least once in each act.
If you don’t forget to check the news in the previous acts then that will be (3/3) and the achievement will pop-out.
Get a Prog pro
You will end up on the „Barley Road”
from here go to the bar on your left, you will get a „signalhack” from a masked thug at the bar, use it to get Prog Pro
Fix the cyberslut
After conversation with a masked thug, talk with a Fat Joe to get to know about person named Krinn, then leave the bar and go to „Broken Jaw alley” and talk with the „Female dweller” if you can’t get proper conversation with her then try this way :
-> What’s is like living in the lower levels?
-> Relate
-> Ask name
-> Be honest
-> Unlike the Kyon’cha, you don’t seem like you want to kill me
-> Confirm
She will give a raincoat anyway so you will be able to go to the upper-levels
You can move these bags on the right to uncover something.. but not necessary…
now back on the „Barley Road” and go to „lower-level highrise” then go all the way up by stairs.
Now use the „City-Express” and go to „Glendale Park” then enter the „Old Park Quarter” to the left and move the pile of rags to meet Krinn.
Now you need to go back to the Fat Joe to talk with him, he will tell you how you can get H.C.P for Krinn.
After you do what he wants you will get H.C.P for Krinn
Use a levelhack
You will get „levelhack” from Krinn in return for bringing him H.C.P
Complete the third act
After you install „levelhack” you should go to met Yukiho at the rendezvous point. („City-Express” to „Exchange Square” then enter „Exchange Square Station” and go to skywalk.) and talk with her…
Beat the game
