it means that your or your teammate’s PC doesn’t have right ports to be open. either open needed ports or use VPN (recommend Windscribe, 10 GB per month is more than enough)

there is no way to launch the game in a true 60/90/120 fps. any increase of FPS will lead to the game being double/triple fast and all timing, code and scripts will be off. the game is designed with 30FPS in mind and all animations are set to match it

there is a Chinese patch that claims to activate a true 60/90/120 fps, but I never tried it and suppose it will be banned at any competition or ranked game

• launch the game with the following launch options:
  -win
• disable Windows GameBar (Xbox Gamebar)
• ALT+TAB from the game when map is loaded and ALT+TAB back
• set “Override high DPI scaling behavior” compatibility option on for RA3.exe (and launch as administrator)

• open the file

  and edit “Resolution” graph to whatever you want
  

• or launch the game with the following launch options:
  -xpos 0 -ypos 0 -xres %number% -ypos %number%

use FlawlessWidescreen software that has a plugin for Command and Conquer: Red Alert 3

game takes a long time to load because it connects to now-dead servers to obtain game news and updates. you can significantly increase loading time by replacing game’s exe (RA3.exe) with the patched version with such connection being omitted

• disable hands-free/bluetooth device
• ensure that you have only one output sound device (it must be set to be default one)
• disable microphone. some mics count as two sound device and it leads to issues

by default game utilizes 2GB of RAM, which is more than enough for a vanilla game. however if you are going to use some heavy mods (Science, Chaos, Epic War) you need to patch game’s exe (RA3.exe) file in order to use up to 4GB of RAM

  ⚠️ warning ⚠️ – each screenshot is in *.BMP format and takes ~3.8MB. so with ~300 screenshots the folder can easily get up to 1GB

to start a mod you need to first launch the game with the following option:

there is two well-knows patches for the game that fix various balance issues and errors:

EA released a source code for various units/structures/maps in the game, mainly to help modders to create their own things. the following source codes were released:

• Soviet Source Code: Con-Yard, Power Plant, Battle Lab, Tesla Trooper, Hammer Tank, Stingray

• Uprising Source Code: Archer Maiden, Steel Ronin, Mortar Cycle
• Singleplayer Maps Source Code: all singleplayer maps with scripts and assets

Mammoth Tank is, basically, the real-life mammoth of a tremendous size with a huge cannon on its back. it was EA’s April Fools’ joke, who hinted that this beast will be included in the game in the future patches. obviously it never happened, but EA released a full source code for that unit and it is often used in various mods

some skirmish maps were the exclusive pre-order bonus (BestBuy, GameStop, EAstore, etc) and lately were added into the game with patches or available on various site for free . you don’t need to download and install files below at all, but if you are a collector and purist, then download it here

нет никакого способа запустить игру с поддержкой 60/90/120 ФПС. любые попытки увеличить ФПС приведут к тому что все анимации и тайминг в игре будут быстрее положенного. игра была разработана под 30 ФПС и все анимации были подведены под это

существует китайский патч, который уверяет что может разблокировать поддержку 60/90/120 ФПС, но я никогда его не проверял и не могу ручаться за его работу

• запустите игру с следующей командной опцией:
  -win

игра загружается так долго потому что при запуске она пытается проверить новости с сайта EA, поддержка которого давно прекращена. чтобы решить эту проблему пользуйтесь модифицированным файлом запуска (RA3.exe) в котором обрезана функция связи с серверами EA

• отключите любые беспроводные звуковые устройства
• убедитесь что работает только одно звуковое устройства вывода
• отключите микрофон. некоторые микрофоны считаются как два звуковых устройства и это может приводить к проблемам

по умолчанию игра может использовать только 2ГБ оперативной памяти, что достаточно для обычной игры. однако если вы пользуетесь крупными модами (Science, Chaos, Epic War), то нужно пропатчить игру на поддержку 4ГБ оперативной памяти:

Танк-Мамонт это здоровый реальный мамонт с большой пушкой на своей спине. он был выпущен EA в качестве первоапрельской шутки, мол что он скоро будет добавлен в игру в одном из патчей. разумеется этого не произошло, однако EA выпустили его исходный код и с тех пор Танк-Мамонт часто фигурирует в различных модах

некоторые скирмиш карты были экслюзивным бонусов для тех кто делал пред-заказ игры. с тех пор многие из этих карт были добавлены в игру с патчами, или же были загружены на различные сайты. нет никакой причины скачивать файлы ниже, но если вы пурист или коллекционер, то тогда пожалуйста
