In this guide, you will learn how to properly play H1Z1: King Of The Kill.In other words, you will learn how to use the Explosive and the Flaming arrow’s.
How to find arrow’s
The Wooden Arrow is an arrow that can be used by any bow or crossbow
You can find the arrow’s every were near a crossbow or a bow.
When you found the arrow’s they are packed in to a bundle,
So just unbind the bundle of arrow’s
Each bunble of arrow’s contains 10 arrow’s
Flaming Arrow
The Flaming Arrow is an arrow that can be used by any bow or crossbow.
Crafting
Can be crafted with
- 1x duck tape.
- 1x molotov cocktail.
- 5x Shotgun shell’s.
- 5x wooden arrow.
Crafting this recipe will produce 5 flaming arrows.
Explosive Tipped Arrow
Explosive Tipped Arrow is an ammunition type that can be crafted and shot using any ranged weapon like a bow or crossbow.
Crafting
Can be crafted with
- 1x duck tape.
- 1x hand granade
- 5x Shotgun shell’s.
- 5x wooden arrow.
Crafting this recipe will produce 5 explosive tipped arrow’s.
Crossbow
The Crossbow is a ranged weapon in H1Z1. It mainly uses Wooden Arrows as ammunition.
Damage Values
The crossbow does persistent damage (varying +/-2%) at any distance.
- 35% damage when shot in the chest with no armor.
- 35% damage when shot in the chest with Wooden Body Armor.
- 34% damage when shot in the chest with Plated Body Armor.
- ?% damage when shot in the chest with Laminated Tactical Body Armor.
- ?% damage when shot in the head with no helmet.
- ?% damage when shot in the head while wearing a motorcycle helmet.
- ?% damage when shot in the head while wearing a tactical helmet. (Still does 100% damage when shot in the face)
Wooden Bow
The wooden bow is a superior version of the Makeshift Bow and inferior version of the Recurve Bow. The wooden bow is the 2nd best bow next to the Recurve Bow, with slightly less range, a bit slower fire rate, and a little slower arrow speed. You can move multiple times faster while drawn than a Makeshift Bow, but quite a bit slower than with a recurve bow. This makes the wooden bow pretty decent for killing zombies and players without a helmet.
It can fire 3 types of ammunition: Wooden Arrow, Flaming Arrow and Explosive Tipped Arrow.
Damage Values
The Wooden Bow does following damage (varying +/-2%) with Wooden Arrow:
- 35% damage when shot in the chest with no armor.
- ?% damage when shot in the chest with Wooden Body Armor.
- ?% damage when shot in the chest with Plated Body Armor.
- 1% damage when shot in the chest with Laminated Tactical Body Armor.
- ?% damage when shot in the head with no helmet.
- ?% damage when shot in the head while wearing a Motorcycle Helmet.
- ?% damage when shot in the head while wearing a Tactical Helmet (Still does 100% damage when shot in the face).

Press V to switch arrow’s
