Helpful tips (if guide doesn't work for you)

  • Make sure to turn sync with Windows (or other) time servers off in Date/Time settings. Depending on the speed of your computer (and the last time it synced) that may throw things off. Windows can correct your time almost instantly, before you are able to switch back into the game. After turning time sync off the guide should work.

  • If you are having trouble getting hibernate to work on Windows Vista, 7, 8, or 8.1 try going to power options - change plan settings - change advanced power settings - Expand "Sleep" - Set "Enable Hybrid Sleep" to off .
    If that doesn't do the trick open an administrator command prompt and type: powercfg -h on
