H8ers be like "omg hax aimbot" but this be a genuine 360 noscope:

This score be puttin me in top 500 scores of all time!
...Actually, nowadays, it's more like top 800 but who cares IT STILL GUD

Now I shall be doin the teachin to you on how to git gud!

Learn to shred with "tactical mashing"

*cough* Ok... enough talking like that... for now at least

So basically the idea is that, in order to be able to score high, you have to be capable of completely shredding any onslaught of melee enemies that come your way.
If I were to fight a wave of hundreds of melee wolves right now, I would be able to kill them all and emerge unscathed.

Here are the two secrets to being able to "shred":
-The game has essentially no cooldown to your attacks, therefore your attack speed is pretty much limitless
-The game remaps the arrow keys to WASD, so you can use both at the same time

This means that, you have to "tactically mash" BOTH the WASD and arrow keys at the same time to unleash a devastating flurry of hits that will decimate anything.
However, you also must remember to refrain from jumping while shredding- or else you'll limit your ability to shred the additional enemies that may be coming your way, and as a result take damage as you return to the ground!

Here's an example- multiple melee wolves are coming towards you from the right. Mash the S, D, right, and down keys until they all die brutal deaths.

Or maybe they're coming from the left. Mash the A, S, left, and down keys until they're all dead. You get the idea. But more often than not, you will need to defend against wolves from both sides. Then you will have to mash the A, S, D, left, down, and right keys. Eventually it will come naturally and you find yourself immune to those hordes you previously despised.

Meet the knife thrower

Introducing the knife throwing wolf. He's not that bad, right?

HE IS THE BANE OF MY EXISTANCE!

Ahem, sorry, had to get that out of my system.

But seriously, whenever you see one walk in, you gotta drop the shredding and focus on dodging his knife. You can dodge it with any of the following methods:
-Crouching
-Jumping
-Deflecting with a weapon

Deflecting with a weapon is definitely the best and safest way to do it, but that's not always an option if you don't have a weapon (obviously).
Crouching is the next safest way to do it, but that poses its own dangers when you're late in the game and you constantly have melee enemies to shred before they shred you. This means that while crouching can allow you to dodge knives, it also leaves you vulnerable to hostile melee enemies, because attacking them can cause you to stand back up right into the flying knife. Sending away melee enemies in preparation to crouch and dodge a knife is an art that takes lots of practice at good timing- an art I have yet to master.
Jumping is the last and most dangerous method for several reasons. One reason is that the jumping hitboxes are sh!t and not very generous. They're almost like flappy bird hitboxes; even if you think you missed the object, you didn't. Another reason is that you're put in the line of fire for other aerial threats, as well as given the challenge of landing back on the ground without taking a hit from an attacking melee wolf.

To sum it all up- be wary of knife throwing wolves or suffer death! Deflect their knives when you can, and be careful of the vulnerabilities that come with dodging them.

Which leads into my next bit of advice--

You're always safer when crouching

Crouching has the following effects:

-Shrinks your hitbox
-Protects you from incoming knives
-Protects you from pogo-wolves
-Reduces your offensive capabilities when you are unarmed

Essentially the only drawback is your limited damage output. You can't shred while remaining crouched. You can only dish out the occasional hit without standing back up, which usually isn't enough to hold off the late-game hordes. However, you can easily attack repeatedly with a melee weapon while remaining crouched, so when you are armed, it would be ideal to stay crouched whenever possible.

But remember when I said never jump while shredding? That's because jumping puts you in the line of fire of high-flying rockets, as well as gives melee enemies a window to hit you when you return to the ground. It also interrupts your stream of attacks. Jumping should only be done sparingly and very quickly- get up there, knock down that pogo wolf (or kill that rocket wolf), and get your ass back on the ground.

Weapons; they're OP as ♥♥♥♥

But, obviously, they break after three hits.

Weapons make you essentially invinsible while they're unbroken. You can crouch indefinitely, one-hit kill almost everything, greatly increase your attack reach, and shoot any object towards enemies.

This means you have to use weapons sparingly! Grab them and deflect objects using them whenever you can, because deflecting doesn't decrease their lifespan.

The weapon's increased reach can also be useful for easily defeating low-lurking rockets and chainsaw wolves which are risky to attack from the ground without a weapon. But spend your weapon sparingly- try not to use them on weak targets, try to use them as a counter to the dreaded knife thrower, and try to use them to set up the acquisition of your next weapon!

Speaking of not using weapons on weak targets...

Fear the baby wolf

The baby wolf inflicts no damage.

So some people say "teh baby wolf iz meaningless, just ignore it lol"

I say NAY-NAY to that, good sir!

Why? Because every hit from your weapon is precious! If you're spending your weapon energy to kill stupid little baby wolves, you're wasting your weapon, which will potentially destroy it and leave you open to enemy projectiles.

The best way to dispatch baby wolves while you're carrying a weapon is to hit an airbourne projectile into the wolf, instantly killing it without spending any valuable weapon energy.

Of course, if you're unarmed, feel free to shred its ass before you become armed.

Throwables; don't think, spam

Throwable weapons deal more damage than a regular punch, although they aren't nearly as valuable as actual melee weapons.

And as you should already know, they're reusable - and extremely common. Any enemy that doesn't drop a weapon, drops a throwable. Some enemies even drop multiple throwables at once.

So after you've imposed your godly shredding powers upon a horde of wolves, you will likely find that numerous weapons/throwables have been dropped. Here's what to do with them: grab 'n' go! There's no time to think out a strategy for how to use each tool dropped by the dead wolves. You just gotta grab them outta the air and send them flying as fast as possible before they fall off screen. Sometimes one of the items you pick up will be a weapon, which will mean you will deflect all the remaining dropped items and send them flying. That's fine- after all, now you're armed. Thanks, spam!

If you don't "spam-throw", you could find yourself in the following snafu: two throwables dropped and one weapon dropped at the same time at the same place. Without spam-throwing, your pig could grab the throwables, and you will find yourself not having enough time to send away the throwables and grab the one weapon. Now you've wasted a weapon because it fell off screen since you weren't fast and spammy enough!

Same applies to when your weapon breaks into two pieces. Just throw the pieces as fast as possible and go!

Now go out dere and do an epic 360 noscope!

You have learned the ways of the advanced Iron Snout gameplay. Time to practice these skills!

Remember:
-"Shred" the melee opposition by mashing both the WASD and arrow keys
-Be on alert when a knife-throwing wolf walks in, assess your options and deal with it accordingly
-Stay crouched whenever possible
-Stay armed for as long as possible, and use your weapons sparingly
-Know how and when to take out baby wolves
-Throw away throwables as fast as possible
