Bad Reception (2024)

A long time ago in cooperative games the final objective would be a radio which would need to be destroyed, since an update this has been replaced by a general.

However this is not the only way to grind, for stats to count towards the achievement you can also destroy objectives such as fuel barrels and flak cannons on the raid game type in cooperative online with bots. The items in question will be highlighted on the map as potential objective markers, along with capturing control points for example.

The achievement is geared towards the Engineer class with bazookas, panzer rockets, and TNT blasts. Barrels can be ignited quickly with a couple of gunshots and flamethrower. Map Notes:

Crete has an artillery site visible early that's vulnerable to attacks.

Saint-Lô map has a barrel site B to the left behind apartments.

Dunkirk has artillery at site B to the right visible at start of map when playing as allies. Axis always have artillery at site C.

Rhineland map has artillery often in front of hanger to the left.

For the objectives to count you need to go on to win the round and therefore the match, if you destroy an objective and lose the round (for example if you're playing solo and die) any destroyed objectives will not count towards the achievement.

Be advised that capturing points does not count towards the achievement, only the destruction objectives and killing the general count.

At the end of each mission your counter may not go up straight away in tracking the achievement,the game can be buggy. You may need to exit to main menu or quit the game all together for your stats to catch up- it can take a while but your progress is being tracked.

Rinse and repeat- as of January 2024 I can confirm this works.
