BattlEye x64 Update
BattlEye x64 Update
It seems that BattlEye is causing BSOD on Windows 11 now. The issue is with the BattlEye version, I don't know why Devs are so lazy to fix it.
This fix was originally discovered by the user cmdr_riker, he beat me to it, so credits to him. Unless it was someone else, credits to them too.
To fix this issue, you have to locate the game from your library. In this case it's Day of Infamy, right click and "Browse game folder". Inside the folder locate BattlEye folder. Delete everything inside of it, EXCEPT BELauncher, Install_BattlEye and Unstall_BattlEye.
Then simply download this file: uploadnow. io/f/ w8kMs0Z (remove the spaces)
The ZIP contains files from Unturned BattlEye folder. Then simply paste these files into the problematic games BattlEye folder.
- If you have games like Arma 3, GTA5, The Crew 2, Skull and Bones or other newer games that have BattlEye, and they are already installed, you may use those files. It doesn't have to be from Unturned. You can check the games that use BattlEye from here: https://steamdb.info/tech/AntiCheat/BattlEye/
- If you don't feel safe downloading the file, that's fine. Just download the Unturned from Steam, and then do the steps above.
- Most games only use the x64 bit version, so this fix only is for 64-bit systems. The x32 bit is obsolete and is missing and therefor not included in the fix.
