Best Controller Settings 2025 by Trux
Controller for PC
Enable support for your controller in Big Picture mode (Settings). Remember AC wasn't build for controllers so you still have to use mouse and keyboard for menus.
Once in game
First - For cockpit View - Lock the Virtual Steering wheel to 180 degrees. Do this in the graphics settings (View) in game.
Then set to your controller settings to these values:
Speed Sensitivity - 75%
Steering Speed - 20%
Gamma - 2
Filter - 0.7
Deadzone - 0
That's it :)
If using a pad then its a good Idea to start with Traction Control on and Stability Control on (Try 50%). ABS on is personal choice. These values work on console too.
Different Cars and further tweaking
First thing to remember here is that an LMP1 car wont feel the same as a Porsche Cup car which will also feel diffent to say a Mazda MX5..
Don't be too hasty to change your controller settings if a car feels too twitchy at first.
The settings I posted work well with all cars with a little setup tweaking.
If a car is too twitchy - first try and be smooth with your inputs. Practice makes perfect.
But for further tweaking - Try raising the Toe settings - lowering springs or softening anti roll bars (arb).
You can also change bump and rebound settings and also change the downforce on some cars.
Change one thing at a time then test.
