Perks
Regular Perks
Friend of the night
Being that he plays night crawlers regularly, and spends lots of time in dark places such as sewers and basements, it makes sense that he would've adjusted to seeing in the dark fairly well
Hunter
He is a seasoned killer of creatures (there's a reason he has a rat stick)
Rad Child
Charlie thrives in squalor and filth
Lead belly
Being a regular consumer of viscous chemicals, such as glue and bleach, his stomach would be more than prepared for the dangerous germs, bacteria and radiation coating the food of the Mojave
Mysterious Stranger
The mysterious stranger has a similar vibe to Barney, the hallucination that Charlie talks to while dealing with the Pepe conspiracy, which is pretty much the only reason I added this one
Them's Good Eatin'
Charlie eats all sorts of ♥♥♥♥
Challenge/special perks
Animal Control
Again, as someone who's wiped out generations of rats, he would be well versed in animal murder
Day Tripper
He is a severe alcoholic, as well as a regular abuser of anything that produces noxious fumes
Tough guy
Charlie, as part and parcel of his weird and dangerous lifestyle, gets injured regularly
traits
Hoarder
self-explanatory
Logan's Loophole
Being addicted to mind-altering substances, he would absolutely take the trade-off
Equipment
Clothing
The outfits and armours for Charlie are definitely the most difficult pieces of this build to put together. Since he usually just wears a normal jeans and shirt combo, with exceptions for his double denim with a cowboy hat or bandanna, or special episodes like the day-man play or the liberty bell episode. So, for this, we'll need to do a little bit of thinking outside the box.
Repairman or Robco Jumpsuit
These two are most similar to his janitor uniform when he works as the school janitor briefly in one of the lethal weapon episodes
Viva las vegas or Fancy gambler suit
These slightly resemble the Day-man outfit from the end of his day-man musical, minus the white top hat (a black one can be found worn by Mortimer in the ultra-luxe if you're desperate for a top hat)
All-purpose science suit
This science suit very closely resembles the containment suits both Mac and Charlie wear in the bar quarantine episode. This one, however, doesn't come with a beer hole.
Memphis Kid outfit
This, boiled down, is a simple jeans and t-shirt combo. Exactly the kind of outfit he would wear, even if it's not identical to any of his actual outfits.
Bandanna or Jessup's bandanna
ROCK, FLAG AND EAGLE
Ranger brown hat
looks quite like the hat he wears when trying to sell oil to strangers, and trying to convince a woman to date Frank
Shabby gambler outfit
Looks very much like the outfit Charlie wears with his cowboy hat when trying to sell oil to strangers
Well-heeled gambler suit
somewhat matches the outfit Charlie wears to the fancy restaurant with Frank
Pre-War businesswear
looks kind of like the white suit he wears in the "gang exploits religion" episode
Slave scarf or Head wrap
These resemble the bandana type hat that Charlie wears when he's working in the sweat shop
Roving trader outfit
mildly resembles the outfit he wears when junkyard diving with Frank (more closely resembles Franks outfit in that episode)
Desert Ranger combat armor
Green jacket. that's pretty much the only resemblance, I couldn't think of anything else.
Wasteland settler outift
Long johns, ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up shirt. This outfit pretty much screams Charlie, even if it doesn't look like anything he's worn in any episode (besides the long johns)
Rawhide cowboy hat
This looks slightly like his "serpico" disguise hat
Weapons
Exact-ish matches
.45 auto pistolfirst season episode when the bars are getting robbed and the gang buys a gun, this gun looks very similar to that gun
Flare Gun
Charlie brandishes a flare gun in the episode when the gang gets locked in the brig of a cruise ship
Frag Grenade
In "Mac and Charlie" fake their deaths, Mac and Charlie attempt to blow up Dee's car with a grenade
Fire bomb
a literal in-game Molotov cocktail
Camera
From the episode that introduces Bruce Mathis, as well as the many other occasions he uses a camera
Chainsaw
Charlie wields a chainsaw in the season 3 episode "Mac is a serial killer"
Hatchet
"Storm coming? Hatchet coming"
Not-so-exact matches
Katana
The closest match I could think of to Charlie's Scimitar from the dumpster baby episode
Police pistol
looks pretty similar to the snub-nose revolver, the barrel isn't quite as short as the one Charlie and Frank use throughout the series but I'm pretty sure it's the shortest barrel revolver in the game
9mm pistol or Maria
Is the same caliber and type of pistol the gang buys to defend the bar with
nail plank or baseball bat (GRA) with Baseball bat nails mod
Is the best match I could find for the rat-sticks that he has in various points in the series
9mm submachine gun
Is the closest relation to the Mac 10 that his "Lethal Weapon" character uses
Relations
Factions
There are a variety of factions I think Charlie would be involved in, thanks to his "Wild Card" nature, and his tendency to just do whatever. Plus, he is usually very easily convinced to side with someone as long as they "explain" their side and display some kind of authority. for that reason I won't bother listing the main 3 (NCR, Legion and House). Plus, he loves to do characters, meaning he would fit in with almost every faction.Freeside
Charlie would definitely feel at home with the impoverished and violent, but friendly and ambitious people of Freeside. I can definitely envision him as a part of the kings, or an employee at the atomic wrangler doing his Charlie Work.
yes man/independant new vegas
He would revel in the idea of being in charge of the strip and having a lackey that just constantly agrees with him.
Companions
Charlie would get along with pretty much all of the companions, especially Boone and Veronica, Boone for his general atmosphere (similar to the crossbow guy from the show) and Veronica for her underground living.Other Guides
