DirectX 11 Support ! And an System which support this Features !
So you need Windows 7 or Windows 8 and latest Graphic Card Driver !

It looks like this features has already implemented into the Maximum Edition.

You can check this by looking for

• patch1.pak
  
• TexturesHighRes.pak

Are this Files inside ...
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Crysis 2 Game of the Year\patch
you already have this Patches.
