First steps on the server

This server is not hosted by the original production studio.

This server has its own specific features, including:
-a player capacity of 41 instead of 32 in vanilla mode
-balancing changes to the costs of certain weapons and carpet bombing cooldowns

Among the many reasons leading to the decline of the game, player toxicity is worth highlighting.
Racist, toxic, and other such behaviors are not tolerated.

The game is not in very good condition, but for more than three years this server has been bringing together 20 to 30 players EVERY weekend.

This is only possible thanks to the investment of individuals. They do what they can to offer a game that works, but there are some notable bugs.

In particular, the LIBERATION and OFFENSIVE game modes do not work at all!

We play exclusively in INVASION mode.

General Rules

So apart from basic respect for the law (racism or other intolerable behavior) there is balancing rules in place to try to minimize toxicity in the game and the frustration it generates.

Balancing rules are in place to try to minimize toxicity and frustration in the game.

These rules are as simple as possible, but please understand that without these safeguards, the game would revert to an explosive ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dominated by a few “very good spawnkillers.”

1 : Spawn camping is an integral part of the game. However, heavy machine guns (Mg42, Vickers, Browning) and explosive launchers (Panzerschrek, PIAT, bazooka, rifle grenade) are prohibited on spawn points!

Prioritize spawnkilling with TNT, rifles, etc. No automatic weapons against spawns in general.

The spawn corresponds to the entire area directly next to a team's respawn point.
Sometimes it is a hallway or a door landing or the top of a staircase. Shooting with the weapons mentioned above in the spawn is prohibited and will result in a kick!

2 ; Spawncamping with artillery is forbidden too. You can put it near spawn, but if its land on top it's not good !

3 : Spamming rockets with ammunition crates is also not allowed. You can collect resources, but abuse should be avoided.

4 : Leaving the map with ammunition crates is a game glitch exploit and is not permitted in game

5 : You have the right to destroy your own radio at the end of the match to force the enemy team to hunt you down to the last man.

6 : You have the right to go into the enemy's red zone and spawn kill them with your bayonet. (ask when you're online on how to perform those :D )

That's pretty much all we ask of you to keep the gaming environment relatively healthy. The community is pretty chill, so as long as you don't go completely overboard, you're welcome here.

Don't be a pain in the ass and we won't be a pain in the ass, that's all. Just come and enjoy the game.

The concern is not about controlling everyone; the more rules there are, the more of a mess it is to manage.
The idea is really to have a safety net to turn to so you can have a good time playing a difficult but very exciting game.

Game mode

The server offers several game modes.

Since Offensive and Liberation don't work, there are other options instead. Unfortunately, only an admin can run the command to access these game modes.

The first game mode is called RIFLE ONLY.
The idea is simple: only riflemen can be selected for each team. There is a TNT role available and an officer role with a Welrod.

This game mode gives everyone a chance by removing certain weapons that are too powerful. It is generally used on Britanny because this map can become very frustrating to play if all weapons are available.

The second game mode is called Golden Welrod.

The officer is equipped with a golden Welrod that can kill with one shot.
The sniper has a huge movement bonus and can only equip melee weapons.

This game mode is fun, especially with the sniper's crazy movement speed. The Welrod is very enjoyable to use and gives the game a James Bond feel.

Other game modes may emerge.
