FH4 | Resetting progress or New game on old account

⠀⠀⠀First, you need to open your Steam game library. To do this, simply go to the Library section or right-click on the Steam icon in your taskbar.
⠀⠀In the next step, from the list of games (on the right), you need to find the game Forza Horizon 4 and right-click on it. From the window that appears, you will need to select properties.

⠀⠀If the window opens with the basic settings, you're doing it right :0

⠀⠀So, now you need to uncheck the box next to synchronise SteamCloud

⠀⠀⠀Once you have unchecked the box, you can close this window. Do you now need to clear your local save folder? How do you do this?
⠀⠀⠀And so, open File Explorer, or any other file manager. Open the Steam folder. I have Steam installed on partition P, so I have it open here:

• "P:\steam"

⠀⠀⠀Next, you will need to open the userdata folder. This is where all game saves for the active or inactive user are stored. You will probably have several or one folder. Open the one with folder 1293830 in it.

⠀⠀⠀1293830 is the Forza Horizon 4 save folder. Now, just delete it. Yes! That's it, right click - delete! You are beautiful!

⠀⠀⠀Now you need to start the game. Don't worry if it crashes, it happens too. If you are told to choose a name at launch, congratulations! But that is only half way through. You need to play 4 minutes, you can configure the game, choose a name and character, go through a couple of races. Afterwards, close the game!

⠀⠀⠀You need to open the game properties in the library again, as we did 10 minutes ago. Remember, don't you? Well, now we need to put the tick back on the SteamCloud Synchronization line.
⠀⠀⠀Did you put it in? All right, let's move on! Now start the game and the following window should appear:

⠀⠀⠀You must select to load a local save. Why all this? now after accepting this setting you will have all game progress reset and new progress will also be automatically saved to SteamCloud, isn't that cool? I think so!

⠀⠀⠀Great! Now you can go through the game all over again!

⠀⠀⠀Resetting progress is again only half the battle, we have the option of resetting game achievements! Ask how? I'll tell you!

⠀⠀⠀SteamAchievementManager is a special program designed to unlock achievements for Steam games. But, no one forbids blocking achievements? So, download the program by following this link:

⠀⠀⠀After downloading, unzip the archive to any convenient location and open SAM.Game.exe. In the open application, wait for the icons/banners of all the games you have purchased to appear. Among all these beautiful games, find Forza Horizon 4.

⠀⠀⠀Click 2 times on the game banner, you will open a window with a list of achievements. To lock the achievements you need to click on the closed lock in the top lieft corner of the window (I have highlighted it). Then click on Commit Changes. Congratulations, you now have 0 achievements open in the game!

⠀⠀⠀Not long ago, I realised how you can reset another kind of progress - your stats. Have you noticed, like how many roads you've opened, what your top speed is and stuff like that, so that's how to reset it:

⠀⠀⠀To start, open SAM again and select the statistics section.

⠀⠀⠀At the bottom, confirm your acceptance of the edit and then press reset, after agreeing to the whole reset, just finish the game in the top right corner. That's it, your progress is now 100% reset

⠀⠀⠀That's it my friends, you've reset your game's progress and autosaved your new progress. In the game you can race without any rules, but in real life be more careful on the road and wear your seatbelt!
