Fix: Mouse Cursor Appearing During Gameplay (PC)

Guide Overview

Some PC players, myself included, have noticed a bug which remains in the current build of Fall Guys on Steam. Specifically, it's a bug that causes the PC cursor to appear during gameplay when controlling the bean with the mouse. It can be distracting and may interfere with gameplay due to altered camera movement.

This is a simple guide that explains an in-game workaround without requiring a restart.

The Bug

When using mouse controls, the desktop cursor occasionally stays visible over the game instead of disappearing as it normally should during gameplay.

This appears to be a small UI bug which occasionally occurs during matches.

Quick Fix (Workaround)

Step 1: Press ESC (escape key) to open the pause menu.
Step 2: Click Leave Game.
Step 3: When the confirmation menu asks if you're sure you'd like to leave, press ESC (escape key) again to cancel (or click No).
Step 4: Return to the game.

After closing the confirmation prompt and exiting the pause menu, the menu should reset and the mouse should behave normally without the PC cursor once again.

Why It Works

I don't know exactly but I believe it seems to reset the UI state, thus restoring usual mouse input and removing the visible PC cursor.

Additional Notes

This fix doesn't require a restart of Fall Guys.
It can be repeated should the issue reappear mid-game.
Works on the Steam version of Fall Guys.

Also, I am aware of the existence of similar guides but I decided to make my own as those ones are old and, in my opinion, are non-current and do not contain fixes I found myself. Thus, this guide exists.

Final Thoughts

If my guide helped you, please consider rating this guide so more players can find the fix to this annoying bug while playing Fall Guys.

This is my first-ever guide and I wanted to make it so that other players could get an easy fix to a bug Mediatonic (owned by Epic Games... yuck.) should have fixed ages ago and have yet to do so.

Thanks for reading.
