[GENOCIDE RUN SPOILERS] How to Genocide

Overview

Learn how to Genocide! How to do the Genocide and consequences! A full Genocide run in a nutshell.

How to do it

In this route, starting at The Ruins, the protagonist intentionally triggers encounters and kills monsters until encounters with monsters no longer occur, in a manner similar to level-grinding in other RPGs. After killing all the monsters in an area, encounters will still occur, but no monsters will appear, and the battle text will display the message “But nobody came.” Upon seeing this message, the music for the area will be changed to a distorted-sounding ambient track, instead of the regular music both in and out of battle. After exiting the Ruins, all further overworld songs are lower pitched and slowed, and the process is repeated for the next area.
Don’t kill the boss for the area if you haven’t seen “But nobody came”.
Kills:
Ruins: 20 kills (Toriel)
Snowdin: 16 kills (Papyrus)
Waterfall: 18 kills(Undyne the Undying)
Hotland/Core: 40 kills (Mettaton NEO)
New Home: 1 kill (Sans)

The Ruins

Ruins: 20 kills (Toriel)
The boss for ruins is Toriel.
Kill 20 monsters, the genocide will start.
The save points will say “Determination”
If you do that correctly Toriel will be 1 hit kill.
Move on to Snowdin and remember NO MERCY.

THE RUINS TUTORIAL

Snowdin

Snowdin: 16 kills (Papyrus)
Just like before.
There is a bug, save points can show “That comedian…”
If done correctly Papyrus will be 1 hit kill.
Move on.

The Waterfall

Waterfall: 18 kills(Undyne the Undying)
Like before.
Undyne fight will be hard, remember NO MERCY.

Hotland/The core

Hotland/Core: 40 kills (Mettaton NEO)
Do it again.
Mettaton Neo 1 hit kill, if done correctly.

New Home

This one is simple.
Just fight sans.
But fight with him is not simple.
Its very hard.

Consequences and Reset

Chara appers after killing Flowey.
You have 2 options.
“ERASE” “DO NOT”
If you choose DO NOT there will be a jumpscare.
From this point every Pacifist run will be altered.

When you ended the game, to play once more you have to do the Reset.
Wait 10 minutes on the black screen with howling wind:
Every run will be SOULESS
