The problem

After a few hours of gameplay, you may encounter this strange game client behaviour :

While in space, you spent a few moments customizing your shortcuts, placing your favorite actions where you want them to be.

Then, you start playing.
Everything goes well, until you come back to your ship, and discover that ... every single shortcut was removed, or positionned as in a previous version.

The fix

As i said, this is a quick & dirty howto :)

Usual fitting :
  1. go to space (quiet system, or preferably sector space)
  2. Fit your ship (press U, then select your ship on the left side, finally drop your modules on your ship status page)

3. place your shortcuts (press P, then drag your actions to your bar(s) )

The workaround :

now everything looks good, follow these steps :
  1. save a new ship loadout (from your ship status page, click the Loadout tab in the bottom left corner, then hit "save as" ; either create a new loadout or reuse the last one)

HERE IT IS ! no more shortcut bar reset !

WARNING

Be aware that you'll now have to SAVE YOUR LOADOUT everytime you modify your actual ship loadout, whatever you added/replaced on your ship fitting, SAVE YOUR LOADOUT again.
