Gruel Recipe.

•1 cup oatmeal
•2 cups Water or milk.
•Sugar (optional)
•Raisins (optional upgrade)

Personally, I prefer to make my gruel with water so i can taste how people felt also after their shifts work to construction site of Generator.

Remember: Hearty Meals are generosity. The harsh reality back in Liverpool is poverty and chaos that spreads rapidly.

Moisten oatmeal with water and let it boil.
At this point the porridge will look domepy.

It is necessary that oats be soaked so that it softens. We don't want to have gas in our stomach
and some Engineers complaining to our Captain about the smell during the night.

Let it boil for 5-7 minutes over medium heat. Stir frequently so it doesn't stick.
At this point you can add sugar optionally.

Remove from heat and let it to cool for a couple of minutes and serve.

Soothe discontent with some raisins if you like...
