How to access the Secret Editors

*The flora editor is a way to create flora ingame however, this editor is very glitchy, unfinished and you are unable to save your creation. This explains why when you scan a plant in the space stage it shows that it was created by "Maxis" Indicating that players could also create plants. But this never made it into the game.
* You probably noticed some of the cells in the cell stage have parts that look different. These parts were supposed to be "upgraded parts" for the cell stage but was cut during development of the base game. These can be found in the secret cell editor. making it possible to create a cell with different looking parts than the original parts in-game. However, you will not see the cell in-game because the cell stage doesn't show cells made by players. And you cannot play as the cell unless you use 3rd-party software.

The flora editor.

First, you hover your mouse over spore in your library, Right click on the name then select properties Select, set launch options, Then type -state:floraeditor or -state:celleditor respectively. Click "ok" Then Play spore it should open up the editor. If you would like to play spore normally just go back in launch options, and delete the -state:floraeditor or -state:celleditor.

now create cells and plants all you want! just remember you cannot save the Plants but you can save the cells you create, Enjoy!
