I’ll explain you some simple ways to beat spammers in 1V1 situation
Introduction
Hey guys! Iknow that spammers are a little problem in low elo tier (I mean bronze to gold). So i decided too explain you why spam is the worst thing too win and how to counter it like a pro! You’ll be never scared by a Lord Vraxx or an Orion now! BTW sry for my english I’m french ^^ (baguette powa).
1) The spammy spammer
He always do the same heavy attack, or the same signature but he doesn’t change his moove set! He is the most easier to counter! Just wait his animation, find his faults (maybe in the hitbox of the heavy spammed or the timing when he does his heavy), then react! If his heavy is a straight line with high range and priority (like lord vraxx heavy side or Val heavy side), jump and light down at the end of his heavy (that’s an example, you can find some other thing to counter this type of heavy). I mean, this game is really balanced, each heavy has a counter, just found it and then, be patient, this is the key to beat spammer!

2) The original spammer
He is the most difficult to counter, but, spammer are in definition predictable so, you’ll have no problem with theim. These guys will spam everyheavy they have (sometimes they will light but this is really rare (endangered species). So the first thing is again to be patient 😉 i’ll never repeat enough that this is the key! for example, you play a sword character vs Hattori, some Hattori spam heavy down with spear, that’s very effective vs no brain players (LIKE YOU oh sry boyz^^) but, the attack animation is really slow, and you can easily go behind her, charge your heavy attack and punish her like that every single times! Each character have strengths and weaknesses, for the Hattori’s example, before every heavy you can heard a sound signal, if you just d’ont want to be touched, dodge behind when you heard it, For Koji’s example, his animation behind twho heavy is really slow so you can punish him easily behind these.

I hope you understood that beat spammers is easily when you got the concept! My way to improve your gameplay vs spammer is to play in training mode -> bot spam heavy -> see hitboxes -> see stun -> and then you’ll see every single weaknesses that you’ll can use at your advantage!
