Yes I’m A Lvl 30 Geek With A Diamond Nu Wa But It’s My Catchphase So Be Quiet And Start Reading And Yes, I Know It’s Annoying For You Guys To Read The Guide Like This But You Are Going TO Bare With It While I Fix It So Stop Your Whining (All comments complaining about this will be deleted). Nu Wa’s Basic Custom Builds
These builds is not supposed to be the perfect build but it’s a good start to begin with for those who need to a jumping off point in making a perfect build for yourself since each Nu Wa user is different. I will be (In the future) updating it to include different builds for different play styles.
Offensive:
Starters: None Since It’s A Waste Of Space.
Relics: Purification And Sanctury Since These Will Allow You To Escape Your Sticky Situations
Consumbles: 3x Mana Potions, 3x Heath Potions
1st: Shoes Of Focus since Nu Wa consumes mana fast Early Game and the cooldown is a saviour this early
2nd: Chronus Pendent since it decreases your cooldown even further while increasing your power and Mana regeneration
3rd: Book Of Thoth For More Mana And The Mana-Power Conversation
4th: Warlock’s Sash since the stacks are pretty useful since it increases both Mana and Health (Plus there is nothing wrong with double stacking)
5th: Etheral Staff since it will take advantage of those health stacks by converting 2.5 of your health into more power.
6th: Rod Of Tahuti is just the icing on the cake that is Nu Wa… Mmmm, Nu Wa Cake
The Standard Progession Of Special Move Upgrades Is Fine But Your Lvl 4 Upgrade Should Go To Clay Soldiers Since It Make Attacking Towers Easier And Deal More Damage When It Stuns The Enemy.
Support (Still In Testing Phase)
Starters: Yeah… Nah
Relics: Meditation followed by either Frenzy, Curse or Shell (depends on situtation and gods on your team)
1st: Boots Of Focus for the CD as usual
2nd: Warlock’s Sash (Power Stacks and Health stacks are good for lane clearing and long sustain)
3rd: Heartward Amulet (Useful for team fight support)
4th: Soveriegnty (Do I have to say it again?)
5th: Gem Of Isolation (Stun Slows and more mana and health)
6th: Etheral Staff for even more health and mana.
My (No Longer) Personal Nu Wa Build
So I stole this build from an clan player so thank you, LostNoFound for letting me see where I was going wrong and improve on your build and don’t complain about my build. Its made as an all pupose build for all the mages (except Freya And Sol. They need their speed) as a long sustain mana build (Broken as with Kuku).
Starter: None as usually
Relics: Sancutury and Purification (or swapped around if there is an Ares or the CC too ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ high)
Potions: None (so you can get fully upgraded boots)
1st: Shoes Of Focus for the Speed, Power and Cooldown
2nd: Book Of Thoth for the mana and making use of all that mana you will be getting
3rd: Chronos’ Pendant because Nu Wa needs those CD for more effective stuns
4th: Demonic Grip because faster basic attacks means more roots
5th: Etheral Staff for even more mana and the health to power conversion (or Obsiden Shard if you want some penetration)
6th: Rod Of Tahuti (Or Rod Of Dat Booty because this is the ultimate butt rape item)
How To Play A Defensive Nu Wa (Or The Assist Tactics)
I suggest using these tactics in Siege, Assault, Joust, Arena and Clash since these one’s are team relient.
-Always camp at the tower if your allies are jungling for buffs or dead since Nu Wa is very squishy even with good defense.
-Use your minons only during a big scrurry of your team and the enemy team or duing an escape attempt since the stun are useful and the body blocking will be useful.
-Stay at the tower when both of your allies are gone since this will allow you to build stacks if you need it and make sure your tower doesn’t get attacked by minions or other gods.
How To Play A Ruthless Nu Wa (R.I.P My Old Guide And Your Death Average)
These ones are for the more “passive aggressive” Nu Wa users (this means you like diving in and doing loads of damage). These ones work best in a solo exprience. I suggest using these ones in Arena, Conquest (Middle Lane) and Duel.
-Use Clay Soldiers as way to bypass towers since the tower will target these instead of you if you want to damage the tower while waiting for minions. I suggest timing this just about when your minions enter the tower’s radius
-When leaving the fountain, get to the lane via the jungle so you can sneak up on the enemy and stun their arse.
-Use Your Fog To Push Gods Away From You Since Everyone Doesn’t Want To Be Hit By It (It’s Weird Really)
-If Chaining Your Specials, Use Fog Followed By Clay Then Metal When You Need The Stun. Swap Fog With Clay If You Want To Hide As Well.
How To Beat A Nu Wa User (Because Some People Use Her)
So With The Help Of Reddit, I Was Able To Grab Some Tatics Which Was Hard To Get Since Nu Wa Is Under-Rated Now Thank’s To These New, Overated Gods But Let’s Just Get This Out Of The Way.
From The Smite Sub-Reddit:
-Destroy Her Minions Since Without Them, She Won’t Be Able To Stun People.
-Don’t Follow The Fog Since It Can Be Used As A Distraction.
From Me:
-Her Fog Is Usually A Giveaway For Many Of Her Tatics. One Of Them Is When The Fog Is Coming At You, Her Minions Will Be Hiding In There So Avoid It.
-If Her Fog Is Moving Back Or Going Into The Jungle, Use One Of Your Special On It Since Nu Wa Will Be In There Plus The Fog Barely Does Any Damage.
-Don’t Sanctury When She Ults During Early Game Since It’s Very Weak. Only Do This If You Are On The Brink Of Death
-Stay As Far As Possible From Her Minions So You Won’t Be Affected By The Stun When It Comes
I Will Be Adding More As More Stuff When Reddit Decides To Be Useful Or When I Find A Worthy Nu Wa Users Where There Is None.
The Final Summary
So Probably After All This, You Are Wondering What Is The Purpose Of This Guide Since All It Does Is Cover Different Tactics And Builds (Probably without the the second part) And My Answer Is Quite Simple: I Like Helping Gods Who Are Underperforming. I Did This With My Artimis Guide Since She Is A Tier C God With Nu Wa And I Try My Best To Make Them Useful For Those People Who Enjoy Using Them. This Was Me With Nu Wa When I Started And Now, She Is Doing Worser (Yes, worser is a word. Look it up) And I See Less People Using Her So I’m Now Trying To Make Those Gods Who Are Doing Badly And Make Them Useful Again. Now Excuse Me While I Go And Start Reseaching A New Build For My Bellona Game. (Also, do feel free to comment on anything you see here and drop some tips for me to add and please don’t be salty.)
