How to Charge Your Flashlight & Night Vision Goggles (Metro 2033 Redux)

Stuck in the dark? Metro 2033 Redux doesn’t clearly explain how to recharge your flashlight or night vision goggles. Here’s how to use the universal charger properly.

• Press [F] (default key — or your rebound key if you’ve changed controls) to turn your flashlight on or off.
  
• Hold [F] to pull out your universal charger (as long as your battery isn’t full).
  
• While holding it, Left Click to crank — just like when recharging pneumatic weapons.
  
• Keep clicking until the charge meter fills up.

💬 The meter will indicate when your devices are fully charged.

• Works for both flashlight and night vision goggles.
  
• Your light dims as the battery drains — recharge before heading into dark areas.
  
• You can rebind the flashlight/charger key in Options → Controls → Equipment.
  
• If your battery is full, holding [F] won’t bring up the charger.
