If you can't join the online session and all you see is this message, follow the guide.

Step 1

Make sure you have the game turned off
Click the Start button in the lower left corner of Windows, type Credential Manager and press Enter
In the Credential Manager, click the "Windows Credentials" button.

Step 2

Find entries starting with "Xbl"
Example: "Xbl|Device Key"
Select the expand button to the right of the entry
Select to "delete" entries
Delete all entries starting with "Xbl"
Please note that you may need to sign in to other apps again for this reason.

Step 3

Enter the game
Log in to your account
Enjoy the gameplay online
