How To Get A Dragon
What Does A Dragon Do?
Dragons are allies at stage one, and mounts at the other stages. Stage two is just a mount, stage three is a gliding and walking mount, and stage four has the previously mentioned abilities and can shoot an explosive with the effect of a bomb.
Acquiring a dragon
Now that you know what a dragon is I'll tell you how to get them.
Dragons are gained by using the appropriate dragon soul. Every month(?) a new dragon cache is given as a reward for completing the challenges (challenges are made available when you reach mastery level 20) that start at the top of every hour. Once a day you'll get 1 complementary soul for the challenges in addition to the standard two caches per challenge. Caches have a chance of containing 1 or more dragon souls or something like Eyes of Q`bthulu or flux. You can check your current amount of souls and rewards by pressing "Y" and clicking badges and then selecting the relevent dragon ascension section. You'll gain a dragon stage for the following amounts of consumed dragon souls:- 1 Soul for a hat style.
- 5 Souls for the ally.
- 10 For the fledgling stage mount.
- 25 For the weapon styles.
- 50 for the adult stage mount that can glide.
- 75 souls doesn't unlock a stage instead it gives strong stat buffs and an aura that you can apply to radiant items.
- 100 for the legendary stage that can walk, glide, and shoot explosive projectiles.
Alternatively you can use the Dragon Crucible in the Hub World (it's under the dragon statue) to craft previously available dragon souls using dragon coins along with other materials.
