Premise

Playing Call of Duty games online that where released before Call of Duty Modern Warfare (2019) are dangerous to play on PC.
These games are vulnerable to ''RCE'' attacks.
A ''RCE'' is the name for a critical security flaw that allows attackers to run malicious code on a victim’s machine without their consent or physical access.
Exploiting an "RCE" could lead to data breaches, taking control of systems and/or installing malware.

With my guides I show you how to install Call of Duty Safety clients to play these games safely and on top of that I also show you how to play these games against bots and still progress, that way you can have the full experience of leveling, unlocking camo's, completing Challenges and even prestiging, just like the day the game released originally.
On top of that with the bot modes you don't have to worry when nobody is playing the game.
I made a guide on how you could install it in the past with links to the mods, but Plutonium did an update at the start of May that redid the file structure.
This new file structure makes it impossible to install Botwarfare for Black Ops 2, all the other games are unaffected by plutonium and their Botwarfare mods.
Within this guide I made it easy for you, by giving you the old files from before the May update and having Botwarfare and pre-made custom bot names already installed.
As a bonus it also comes with the World at War Botwarfare, Black Ops 1 Upgraded Combat training and Modern Warfare 3 (2011) Botwarfare preinstalled as wel.

Disclaimer

Before I show you how to install the Bot progression, you can't have the new version and the old version at the same time.
I assume if you come to this guide, your priority is Black Ops 2.
If you don't want to play online, then I would recommend going for the Old version as it also has the other Call of Duty games for you, this also allows Lan-party's.
If you do want to use Online at some point, then make a new folder somewhere on your desktop, call it something like ''Call of Duty''.
Then in that folder make 2 folders named ''New'' and ''Old''.
Then move the Plutonium folder Back and Forward as you want to play online or Botwarfare.
The Plutonium Folder is located:
C:\Users\{YOURUSERNAME}\AppData\Local\Plutonium

Download and Install

Download the folder: https://drive.google.com/file/d/167_8ZV3GH6uGyXzFiCDCBkR7EjVxdMwe/view?usp=sharing
Now with the download done, extract the folder.
There are 3 folders inside:
Plutonium
LanLauncher
WAW Bots

Move the Plutonium folder to C:\Users\{YOURUSERNAME}\AppData\Local
If the Appdata doesn't show up for you, click in the file explorer at the top on ''view''.
Then hover over ''Show >'' and make sure there is a checkmark in front of ''Hidden files''

Next if you have World at War installed, open WAW Bots folder and use the ''Install.bat''
This will install the Botwarfare for World at War.
If you don't have World at War you can skip this step.
When done you can delete the WAW Bots folder.

Now open the LanLauncher folder and launch ''LanLauncher.exe''.
It will take a little to load, but when loaded change Username to your own name that you want to use in game.
Then click browse for ''Plutonium folder (Appdata)'' and tell it where the plutonium file is installed.
C:\Users\{YOURUSERNAME}\AppData\Local\Plutonium
Now the same for the location for each game you have installed.

To start a game, click sp/zm or mp and then launch the game you want.
Use the Lanlauncher to now launch these 4 games in the future.
And never download the Plutonium launcher, it will update the plutonium folder and break the botwarfare for Black Ops 2.

How to use

World at War:
when you start up the game, click on mods and load the Bot mod.
Now hot a Lan match and chose what setting you want and launch the match.
When the match is loaded, press both grenade buttons (Q+E).
Now use Melee button (mouse button 4) and trigger/aim button to move trough and accept options.
Press both grenade buttons (Q+E) to close the menu again.
These buttons can be re-mapped by going into the Control setting.
Black Ops:
Just go into Combat training and all mode are now available and once you reach max level you can also no prestige.
Black Ops 2:
In game go to public match and click on the game mode you want to play, it will bring you to the lobby screen where it searches for players that it will never find.
Now click on the button to open the console ` which is under the ESC and above the Tab button usually.
Type in when ready "xpartygo" and press enter.
In match press ESC, where you now have the new options to Add bots & change difficulty.
Modern Warfare 3:
Start a Private match, setup the lobby as you want with map, mode and score.
Then start the match, once in the match press ''N'' to open the bot menu, now use ''WASD'' to move trough the menu and press ''Space'' to activate, press ''N'' to close the menu again.

Edit Bots names

The folder you downloaded comes with a pre-made bot file installed.
This list has a bunch of names of max 15 letter/numbers and will be chosen at random by bots each match.
If you want to add/remove names, you can go to:
C:\Users\{YOURUSERNAME}\AppData\Local\Plutonium\storage
Then edit Bots.exe in:
''iw5'' for Modern Warfare 3
''t4\mods\mp_bots'' for World at War
''t5'' for Black Ops 1
''t6'' for Black Ops 2

Here is also a link to a constantly updated new list that has also names of Youtube followers of my channel:

Want to have your name added as well? comment it here:

Max 15 letter/numbers and nothing inappropriate.

Fix Modern Warfare 3 Level up glitch

If you have the glitch that makes you level up to the max gun level after one kill.
Go to your game library on Steam, right click Modern Warfare 3 and click browse files.
Now look if there is a folder named ''raw'', if there is delete it and this should fix your issue.

Want to launch it from steam and count game time?

Lets make it easier to start the mods.
First go to where we have the client installed.
Right click the client and create a shortcut.
Now right click the shortcut and go to properties.
Copy the location behind the target, for me that is:
''C:\Users\Lindeboombier\Desktop\LanLauncher\LanLauncher.exe''
Now head back to your Steam library and click on the Call of Duty of your choice.
Click on the COG on the right and click properties.
You should see an empty bar under Launch options.
Paste what you copied here and type behind it %command%
The result should look like this.
''C:\Users\Lindeboombier\Desktop\LanLauncher\LanLauncher.exe'' %command%

Now when we click play, it should start the LanLauncher instead of normal the normal game.
You can do this to all 4 games, so when we play for example Black Ops 2, it will count our Playtime.
