How to mod Gorilla Tag

Ensure you have the latest version of Gorilla Tag installed and runs fine.

Install the latest version of Monke Mod Manager . This is the easiest way to mod, as it's incredibly user friendly. Pleas note that there are two versions of Monke Mod Manager to choose from. The first being the Graze version. The alternative option (which has a built in mod library and Linux compatibility) is the version by The Mysterious Person . You can either install this from the Gorilla Tag Modding Discord server ( https://discord.gg/monkemod ), or on github.

Install mod dlls. You can usually find mods by searching up a mod name into google, given you know the mods you want. This step is really only necessary if you are using the Graze version, or if the alternative doesn't have the mod you want.

Inject the mods using Monke Mod Manager, or go to steam, click the gear icon on Gorilla Tag, and click 'Manage'. Once there, you should be able to open the files. After you've done that, go into bepinex > plugins (or something similar) and paste the dlls there. For the alternative, just press the install button. It handles all that for you.

Run the game. Check if the mods are working as intended. Note that some mods only work in modded lobbies to maintain legality. If a mod doesn't work, I would recommend checking for a later version. If there isn't any, it's best to just remove the mod from the files.

Please do not use this guide to install illegal mods. All that will do is ruin the game for other players and put your account at risk. Considering you need around 20 USD just to buy the game, it doesn't seem worth it.

Some legal mods you can try:
Grate Mod menu - This is a modded lobby only mod as far as i'm concerned, though it can be tweaked to allow actual lobbies, which have the same consequences as i had mentioned.
ComputerInterface - This changes the way the computer inside of stump looks and functions.
Camera Mods - Mods like Pokruk's camera mod just add helpful tools and features to the in-game camera.
Nametag Mods - Stuff like Bingus Nametags are legal and make players easily identifiable.

And don't worry, all the mods in The Mysterious Person's Monke Mod Manager version are all completely legal, as far as I know.
