How to Play a good Jason

Here are some basic tips for Multiplayer!

Make use of traps
*Make sure to always trap the phone with 1 or 2 traps when you first spawn in this is always essential to prevent counselors from escaping, it also benefits you greatly! Trapping the car also works, depending on which jason you have so make your traps worth it!

Patrolling
*Patrol the main escape routes from time to time, the cars, the boat, the phone. all of it, patrol those areas ever so often just in case there is a counselor there, never hurts to patrol.

Environmental Kills
*Enviromental kills give you an additional 50 XP so make sure to do those whenever you have the chance its highly reccomended! dont be picky with what kills you want find the nearest Enviromental and use it!

Stalk Ability
*Like it says in it's description, the Stalk ability hides the music and you are less likely to be known you are near a counselor, it helps when entering a house or when you are approaching a counselor doing something such as gas pouring, reparing, etc.

Power Boxes
*Taking out the power will make any nearby counselor talk or be frightened, you may hear them or you may see their blips come up on your screen when this happens, very useful and very efficient! this also gives you some Additional XP

Conserve your abilites
Do not use your moving abilities to speed yourself up to a location, unless a counselor has been trapped or is calling on the phone, reparing etc. if you are in mid chase with a counselor it is okay to use shift to catch up to them but morph is not a good idea. Don't use shift to speed yourself up when you are not near counselors, you never know when you might need it. Morph should be used to get from landmarks such as the phone, car, your house, etc. be wise.

Combat Stance
*Combat stance is great when you are near several counselors. you can activate it by pressing C on your keyboard. Right mouse helps you block incoming attacks from a counselor and lowers the chance of you becoming stunned, also use combat stance when breaking down a door with your weapon, it cancels your animation and breaks the door down a lot quicker

Homeland Security
*Make sure to place 1 trap near your door of your house where you spawn, just in case you are in a scenario where the counselor's need Pamela's sweater to kill you or stun you. it helps a lot!

Throwing Knives
*Try and find as many throwing knives as possible when you have the chance, they come in handy a lot! it only takes 3-4 to fully wound a counsleor, try and throw one at em if you think you have the perfect shot!
