How to play Cry of Fear CO-OP on the LAN server
Host side
One of you must be the host, so you need to start by creating the server. However, before that, the host must know their local IP address. To find your local IP address on Windows, please follow the steps below:
1. Open Windows settings
2. Go to the Network & Internet section
3. Click on Properties for your internet connection
4. Find the local IP address. It usually starts with 192.168.xx.xx (it may be different, just make sure it follows the xx.xx.xx.xx format). For example, mine is 192.168.100.5
5. Save that IP address for later - it will be very useful
If you are unable to find your local IP address, please search online for instructions on how to locate it.
Once you have the local IP address of the host, follow the steps below:
1. Enter the game
2. Select the Host Server option
3. Select your preferred chapter and configure the server according to your preferences
4. Enable the LAN server option
5. Create the server
