How to Rob Black Markets In Dishonored 2

well, our first step is just to get to the black market. Just follow the quest hint.
On your way to the market, you will hear a lady named Mindy Blanchard calling you, Go to her.
After talking to her, turn back, you will see a gate.
go on, you will see a body lying on some window.
Coming Up Is The Fun Part. you can jump over the bar Counter and go upstairs.
Go on to the top.
Enter the room. You will find a hole on a certain wall.
Into the hole you go, and you will see a piano. Don't go downstairs yet.
Go to the piano; You can see a half-blocked room.
You will find out this is a patient's room. Don't startle our boy if you want the non-lethal, non-detected achievement.
Well, Let's take him down.


And we have the black market key.

Go all the way back to where you first met Mindy, you can find the backdoor of the Black market there.

Enjoy your free gears and a rune.

So far, I have only completely explored missions up to the Clockwork Mansion. Maybe more secrets in the future.

First thing first, Go to the market.
You will be informed that some ret@rd Paolo coming by，so find a place to hide.




Reminder: If you want the loot in the station, you need to buy a key from our merchant first.
Anyway, when we go back to streets, look back. There will be a beggar in the corner.
Give him 5 coins and he will give you some hints about howlers trying to find oil tanks.

We need to find those b@stards, because they are trying to rob the shop as well.
Look Up, we need to get up there
Once we reach there, go all the way down. and We will meet our beggar friend again.

Go down again, we can see that 2 ladies talking. Take them down.
(there is a key on the table.)

here is the mission clue. and 2 tanks,

TO find another tank, we need to go into the station behind the light gate. and grab it all the way back.

This is tricky to do if you are doing a non-lethal, non-detected playthrough, especially on very hard difficulty. Because you need to take down every patrol along the way.

The easiest way, I've found:

1. sneak into the station, (buy a rewire tool from the merchant，or try rooftop)

2. take down two boys on the second floor, go to the 1st floor,
you can see a door right behind the light gate.

3. Behind the door ambush a bunch of howlers.
   The IDEA is to bring howlers and soldiers together and let them have parties.
   Believe me, this will save you a TON of time and still count as no-kills.
4. My way is to first disable the light gate by removing its oil tank. This will bring patrols' attention to the door.
   Second, open the door and shoot an arrow somewhere you like.
   Then, blink upstairs.

You need to do these 3 steps as fast as possible, but honestly, you will still be spotted most of the time. so Use quick save.

Once you succeed, there should be only one or two enemies left.

5. bring the oil tank back.

Before you break the wall, Make sure to shoot merchant with sleeping dart through the window.
Otherwise the explosion may kill her.

Well Enjoy yourself with loots and a free rune.

If you want to collect everything in this game, including all coins, then you have to rob everybody, sadly.

The shopkeeper will give you a mission and some rewards including a blue print in this mission.
You really want to rob him till the very end. (until you upgrade and buy everything u need).

Let's first head to the shop. The vendor want to see you try.

Ok, lets give him a sleeping dart first.
Turn back, you will see a crank-wheel against the back wall.
(taking care of those howlers outside is recommended.)

Before you leave the shop，look in the window near the entrance.
You can see a red chain. Shoot it. This will open up the hatch right there.

Now take the wheel all the way to somewhere near the canal gate.


You can open up the gate and enter the black market shop through the chain.

This guy is very rich, so remember to loot the cashier and take all silver dusts in the other room as well.

Nothing much to rob in this shop. There is a bone charm there.

First Let's go to the black market shop.
Don't go in so soon, there are 2 howlers inside talking. One of them is hostile to me somehow.
Turn right, go find a certain wall with a hole on it.
Into the hole you go. keep going. You will find a trap.
Look in the window right by the trap. You can see a door was blocked by wood planks.
Well unblock it. This is the room contained hints to a lock.

Let's go back to the shop, there is a side door.
GO on, on the first floor, we can see the backdoor of the shop protected by a lock.
we can find the pin on the second floor.
Go all the way to the very end of the room on the second floor. We will find our hint.

This is actually an encrypted code. We can find the corresponding dictionary near the entrance.

"We were wed in the month of Rain." indicates April.

In the 4th ROW labeled RAIN, we can find the last 2 digits of the pin in red circle.
So, the final pin will be 4xx.

Here we go.

Nothing Much to Rob in this mission. But this shop is trickier to rob.
You will need sleeping darts or upgrade bending time ability if you want the clean hand achievement after mission 09.

In this mission, The shop Keeper is hostile to anyone at the very start, and hired a bunch of howlers ambushed in and out of the shop. Because we robbed every shop along the way.

You probably will have a hard time locating the shop at first. A simple way is this:
Take out the Heart. Find the ICON of The Outsider's Shrine. press F to mark it.
The Shop is right next to the shrine. There you go.

There are 2 ways to get to the shop. Let's talk about them one by one.

Before you enter the whole area, on the coast, you will hear 2 smugglers talking about something on their ship waiting to be transported to the black shop.

Go on until you reach here.
This is the place where you first encounter any guards.

You can stop here, and Let me walk you through the first route to the shop.
Because we are going to take the alternative path.

Let's go Left first. After a very short walk, we can find the sign of the black market.

Go on you will see a very big tree in the courtyard.
There is a watchtower behind the tree, don't move into the light or alarm will go off.
Let's jump onto the watchtower and shut it down.
And if you look around now, you can see a balcony.
Inside, 2 guards are planning to rob the ship on the coast.
You will find this alley next to the balcony.
This way leads to the front door of the shop.
5 howlers inside will whip you @ss if you walk in.
That's why we want to take the alternative route.

Now Let's start the official walkthrough.
The stuff on the ship is very important because it contains the passcode to the shop.
Note that: Those 2 guards are acting very fast. So Remember to hurry up.
Otherwise they will steal everything on that boat and you won't be able to go inside the shop.

This Time let's Go Right.
We will find a beggar talking about some mysterious place he's been to.


He must be talking about the Shrine. Also a small hint to the black market location.
Good to know. This is kind of irrelevant to this guide but interesting anyway.
Look up. We need to get to that window.
This is a room full of sculptures and a black bonecharm.
If you murdered everybody in previous missions(high Chaos), you will be dealing with bloodflies in this room.
Across the room we go, and we can see a shop named Winslow Safe Company.
In this shop, We can find the way to bypass the light gate. (near the cashier)
And also inside the cash register, you will find a key to a locked room(bone charm&blueprint).
And the code to open the back gate of the black Market. (at the very back on the 1st floor)

Let's get out and turn left, you can see 2 men playing dice. And there is our back gate.

Here at the back of the black market shop, you will see a lady trying to talk her way into the shop.
Let's steal the key of the boat from her.

And let's go all the way back to the boat.
We can see 2 guys have already been murdered by those 2 guards.
Let's bend time and choke them. (sleeping darts will do also).

Reminder: If you want no-kill in this mission, do not throw their unconscious bodies in the boat.
There is a small pool of invisible water that could drown them, and this counts as a kill.
Let's open the door and use the audiograph machine.
We can get the passcode.



And we go back, and knock on the door.

Remember if you start to take things in the shop, the shop keeper will run away and guards are coming to you. So it's better to choke him in the first place.

There is only one valuable really.

This is the last shop. This shop only contains a whale oil bottle and a rune.
I don't think anyone in her right mind will stay in this witch-filled town except that developers have her stay to upgrade our gears. So I personally will not choke the merchant.

This map is pretty linear and the shop is easy to find.
Walk along the street. You'll see Dunwall Courier.

There is a blocked path right next to it.
Go on, you will see some bottles on a shelf.
break them, and take a common key behind.

You can talk to the civilian on your left.
And a reporter on the third floor of the house on your right.
(only If you saved him in Mission 01, unlock Freedom of Speech achievement)

Once you got the key, head back to the shop, go to the back.

Jump down and turn back. You will see a locked door.
Go on and you will find a hole to the black market shop.

I just bend time and loot the oil bottle, and choose to buy everything else instead.

A final piece of advice for those who want the Shadow Achievement. (Not spotted throughout the game).
In this particular mission, it's a bit tricky not to be spotted by Delilah herself.

When You Go into Dunwall Tower Interior, in the main hall, you’ll find the High Overseer strung up to a post on the stairs dead with 2 bone charms on his body.

Behind him on the 2nd floor, you will find a statue of Delilah. DO NOT attempt to talk to the statue if you want the shadow achievement. If you talk to the statue and bring out the status menu, it will show that you are not spotted at that point.

However, later when you meet with Delilah in the throne room, She will be sitting on the throne ready for you with her 2 puppies. Even if you manage to give her soul to herself before being spotted by those dogs/Delilah，a cutscene will occur that shows Delilah thanks you for bringing her soul back. And THIS is counted as being spotted. I didn't know that and had to replay the mission to unlock shadow.

If you did not talk to the statue, she will be focusing on her painting work instead. Sneaking behind and offering her soul, you are good to go.

Inside the painted world, if you do not want to be spotted. Blink to the Platform on your Right.
Look back (Turn your back on Delilah), and You will see a cliff. Jump on to the top stealthily, and you will find the real Delilah casting her delusional trick. Choke her from behind.

Bring her back to the real throne out of the painting. Place the corrupted rune. and hide behind Emily/Corvo's statue. And you finish the game with clean hands and shadow achievements.
