What to do

So you accidentally clicked the Steam Login button and now you have an empty Level 1 Account you can't log out of?
Tried logging out only to find that there is no such button, even after binding your e-mail like other forum threads told you to do?
Tried booting up the game with the internet off, only to not get sent to the Login screen, but for the game to keep retrying the same Steam login over and over?
Reinstall the ENTIRE 120GB game only to find out it still logs you into your Steam account?

WELL, FEAR NO MORE. THE DEFINITIVE FIX IS HERE:

Go into your "C:\Users\YOURUSERNAMEHERE\Documents\My Games\WarThunder\Saves" folder, locate the "common.blk" file, and look for the following line. (If it does not exist, create it or launch the game once for it to be generated.)

On Linux, you may find the common.blk file in the following location: "~/.config/WarThunder/Saves"

You are looking for this line:

"useSteamLoginAuto:b=yes"

Change this line to
"useSteamLoginAuto:b=no"

Now save your file.

Congratulations. You should now be able to launch the game and get to the Login Screen, or be automatically logged into your Gaijin Account if you used one previously.
