Overview
The oda-takeda war started when the oda completed their war againest the date. The oda’s spies detected the biggest and best army that the takeda hade under their clan leader come near the border. The takeda invaded in march,1565. They attacked the former date capital but it failed. The oda’s largest and best army under their clan leader massicured their army and killed their leader. The oda’s garrisons where put on red arlert from an invasion from the takeda, but the attack never hapened instend the takeda had to rebuild their army the oda’s leader took his army on an offensive on the takeda lands. He went strait for the city of echigo, but the takeda’s new army intersepted the oda at echigo fields, the battle of echigo fields began. The battle was much different from their last incounter. A massive caverly and infentry battle happenend but the oda defeated the takeda. The oda lost 400 men out of 2540, but the takeda lost 2000 out of the 2400. The city was there for the taking. After the defeat some of the military leaders of the takeda were qustioning if the royal family should be runing the clan and a civil war broke out. The oda used this to their advantidge and made a new army and the takeda were doomed. The new army capured 3 cites, but the new takeda army marched on the newly capured city but a ninja sabitaged the army so the army was stuck there for winter, but the army stayed there for another year and was sabitaged every turn and with the winter attrition they lost 1000 men out of 2000 and then attacked and of course they all died. The civil war was over and the royal family had won but hade almost nothing to stop the oda warmachine. The oda occupied the reimaning takeda cities and the war was won. This war was 7 years long(I got a 12 turn year mod) and was more deadly than any other war the oda had fought besides the war of the relm. The oda exepected to loose a lot more men than they did, exspected to loose 60,000 men but only lost 13000, and had 70,000 active troops at the begianing of the war. The takeda exspected a easy victory with less then 10,000 casusties, but lost 50,000 and had 95,000 active troops at the start of the war.
