Old School Achievement Guide

This is one of the hardest achievements in my opinion.

To unlock this achievement, you must play through LAN, which normally only works on the same network.

✔ Why Radmin:

No account required
Easy to set up

You can also use Hamachi, but it requires an account.

Install it normally (no special setup needed).

💡 Important:
All players must use the same VPN (Radmin or Hamachi).

🔹 Create a Network (Host only)

• Open Radmin
  
• Click Create New Network
  
• Choose a simple name and password

🔹 Join a Network (Other players)

• Click Join Network
  
• Enter the exact same name and password

💡 If you don’t see other players:

Check that everyone is Online (green status)
Restart Radmin if needed

This step forces the game to connect directly to the host.

🔹 Step 1 – Copy Host IP

• In Radmin, right-click the host
  
• Copy their IPv4 address (numbers like 26.xxx.xxx.xxx)

⚠️ Use the Radmin IP, not your real internet IP.

🔹 Step 2 – Open Game Properties

• Go to your Steam Library
  
• Right-click Move or Die
  
• Click Properties

🔹 Step 3 – Add Launch Command

• In Launch Options, paste:

+connect XXX.XXX.XXX

Replace it with the host’s IP.

This makes the game auto-connect when launched.

If you can’t connect, your firewall might be blocking the LAN connection.

Only disable it temporarily.

🔹 Host

• Open the game
  
• Go to: Play Locally → Local Area Network → Host LAN Game
  
• Wait for players to connect

🔹 Join

• Open the game (with launch option set)
  
• Or go to: Play Locally → Local Area Network → Scan & Join

💡 If Scan doesn’t work, the launch command (+connect) is more reliable.

To unlock the achievement you need to be the host.
Repeat this process with each player taking turns as the host to ensure everyone unlocks it.

1. Create a new empty folder on your desktop and name it whatever you like.
2. Go to your Move or Die installation directory and move all the files into the folder you just created.
3. Press Windows + R, then paste the following:

steam://open/console

4. In the Steam client now there is a console tab. Paste the following string in the input bottom bar:

download_depot 323850 323851 8847522690012043280

5. Press Windows + R and paste the route throwed in the console.
6. Finally, move all those files to the now empty Move or Die installation folder. Launch the game normally through the Steam library. If you see something like this at the beggining...

This method works the same way as the first one.

• Follow the exact same steps from Method 1
  
• Create or join a network
  
• Disable Windows Firewall
  
• Connect to the host
  
• Host and join the game as explained before

The only difference is that you are using the depot version of the game files. ⚠️ Important:

• Each player must host at least once to unlock the achievement

This method has also been tested and works correctly.
