Physx Performance Improvement Guide (NVIDIA)
Improving Performance
PhysX for Mirrors Edge on RTX 50 series is now done with custom driver support due to a previous phasing out of 32 Bit CUDA. FIx is likely not needed for these cards as it is done at a driver level, However I have not tested this due to being on an RTX 30 series card as of Feb 26 https://www.nvidia.com/en-gb/geforce/news/battlefield-6-winter-offensive-geforce-game-ready-driver/
Unfortantely Mirrors Edge ships with outdated PhysX binaries which can cause issues due to the game defaulting to using these.
Ensure sure you have downloaded the latest Nvidia drivers from.
http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us
Or from GeForce Experience/Nvidia App
Once installed locate your Mirror's Edge install directory.
For example "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\mirrors edge\" if on Steam.
Once located open the folder called Binaries and delete the following files/folders.
Once you've done that launch the game and run through a PhysX intensive area to confirm it's working, if it isn't see the resources section for a link to PCGamingwikis Mirrors Edge article.
