Quickswitch Sniper Guide
Briefing
Special Thanks to:
- Hazumu - For suggesting me to try HS1 instead of HS3. Having tested it for myself I can confirm that it works much better.
- unbanned via PB - For pointing it out the second time.
- уравнитель - For providing negative criticism that encouraged me to come back and tune up this guide.
- Blevins (Necrons4Life) - For pointing out The Marketplace tax, and giving me a better idea of what players need to save up for.
- JimEastway - For helping me film the videos.
Quickswitch Sniper Guide
You're going to need a lot more than the Newbie Guns[www.apbrwiki.com] if you want to compete in the big leagues!
The Tools
You have two choices here; Either use the Default N-HVR 762[www.apbrwiki.com] unlocked by progressing Veronika Lee[www.apbrwiki.com] to Level 6 on Criminal[www.apbrwiki.com], or Chung-Hee[www.apbrwiki.com] to Level 6 on Enforcer[www.apbrwiki.com] and then, after that, you unlock the N-HVR 762 Adeen[apbdb.com] at Level 10 on the Sniper Role. Don't want to wait? You're in luck! We have another option! Get on The Armas Marketplace[www.gamersfirst.com] and purchase the N-HVR 762 Dvah[www.gamersfirst.com].
Now that we've taken care of the first part of the puzzle we'll be moving on to the next part, The Secondary!
You can't just use your Dad's old Snubnose[apbdb.com], this is a process people!
People may argue that most side-arms will work in this spot however, only two three that currently exist in the game can actually carry out the range necessary to effectively take out an enemy at longer distances.
I recommend the Colby RSA[www.apbrwiki.com]. (Criminal[www.apbrwiki.com] unlock Level 5 with Harmon Benjamin[www.apbrwiki.com], Enforcer[www.apbrwiki.com] unlock Level 5 with Darryl Kent[www.apbrwiki.com] Level 5) Don't want to wait to unlock it? For a limited time only the Colby RSA 'Hunter'[www.gamersfirst.com] is available for purchase within The Armas Marketplace[www.gamersfirst.com].
Now that we have both the Sniper[www.apbrwiki.com] and the Sidearm[www.apbrwiki.com] we should be ready to fly right? Wrong!
Now we've got to buy some mods[www.apbrwiki.com] for our Sniper[www.apbrwiki.com]!
Mods
You heard me! We're going to mod[www.apbrwiki.com] it up!
Note to New Players: If you've just started APB: Reloaded[apbreloaded.gamersfirst.com], sorry but you're going to need to earn your keep first. Go out into either the Mission Districts[apbdb.com] or Fight Club[www.apbrwiki.com] and earn a total of at least $180,000 in virtual currency.
Once you've acquired at least $180,000 in $APB head over to the Social District[www.apbrwiki.com] via the district section. (While you're there be sure to check out all the beautiful she-males prancing around in their Tighty Whities.) Look for the Green Kiosks[www.apbrwiki.com], these are known as the In-game Auction House E.g. The Marketplace[www.apbrwiki.com].
From here it's quite self-explanatory.
Buy Hunting Sight 1[apbdb.com], 3 Point Sling 3[apbdb.com] and Magazine Pull 3[apbdb.com].
Even if you don't have an N-HVR 762 Dvah[www.gamersfirst.com] the Magazine Pull 3[apbdb.com] will come in handy later.

Now that you have the mods why not apply them to your weapon?

Now that you've done everything else it's time to learn how to kill! Watch the following video and marvel at the sheer power of this loadout.
