ScrapMap - a top-down map of your survival world, no setup

A small Windows tool that makes a top-down map of your Scrap Mechanic survival world and opens it in your browser.

Double-click ScrapMap.exe. A window opens with your worlds already listed, the one you played last picked out. Press Make map. That's it - nothing to install, no files to patch, no server to run.

You need Windows and Scrap Mechanic installed. ScrapMap.exe carries its own Python, numpy and Pillow inside it, so there is nothing else to set up. It finds Steam, the game and your saves on its own.

If you would rather run it from the source, you need Python 3.8+ and you double-click Make map.bat, which fetches numpy and Pillow the first time if they are missing. To build the executable yourself, run python build_exe.py - it makes a throwaway virtual environment, pulls PyInstaller into it and cuts the exe from that, without installing anything into the Python you use.
