Mod
After the mod you will have till now the best hack&slay game on pc 😀 imo ;D No quick time crap, pure battles ;D And do not forget to enable the turbo mode in the options in-game 😀
[link]Download the mod and read the “documentation.html”. Install the mod-fix and edit the file called “StyleSwitcher.ini” to your liking 🙂

Use the D-Pad or press both sticks to change the styles on the fly.
WeaponSwitcher=1
Change all the weapons over the triggers (5 melee & 5 range weapons).
Edit the “DMC3SE.ini”:

CIRCLE = 1
TRIANGLE = 3
SQUARE = 2
CROSS = 0
L1 = 4
R1 = 5
L2 = 11
R2 = 12
L3 = 8

Check the controller settings for the right name – press WIN+R and type “joy.cpl”:
“XBOX 360 For Windows (Controller)”
Then use a mapping tool like xpadder to map the left trigger to Q and the right trigger to E.
