Terraria ALL New 1.4.5 Update Achievements Guide!

Complete the Bestiary.

This is by far the longest achievement in the 1.4.5 update. You should fully complete the bestiary including critters, NPCs, enemies etc. You'll just have to spend a lot of time. Use battle potions, water candles and summon blood moon for bigger enemy spawn rate.

For those who have got the 100% before the update, here is the list of the new Beastiary Entries:

117 - Pufferfish, a rare critter. Spawns in the Ocean Biome
179 - Moss Zombie, a VERY RARE enemy that spawn in Graveyard Biomes. The chances of it spawning increase if you have negative luck, so kill ladybugs.
182 - Statue. Not to be confused with a furniture item, even though it looks like an Angel Statue. Spawn in the Graveyard Biome like the Moss Zombie, but only Post-Skeletron, while also having negative luck, although I believe it still spawns more frequently than the Moss Zombie.
255 - Orca, a hardmode-exclusive enemy, shares the same spawnrate as Sharks. Spawns in the Ocean Biome.
307 - Librarian Skeleton. Spawns in Dungeon if there are books on the shelves nearby. Place some if there aren't.
314 - Water Bolt Mimic. Also spawns in Dungeon, and also requires books on the shelves, but the book nearby doesn't exactly need to be a Water Bolt.

UPD: Here's a world to get this achievement if you don't want to do it yourself.

Prove your worth against the Moon Lord's worst.

To get this achievement, you should defeat Moon Lord in a getfixeboi world. It's not as easy as it sounds, but it's definitely not the hardest achievement. If you're struggling, look up some Zenith Seed guides.

Defeated the combined form of the 3 mechanical giants.

To get this achievement, you'll need to defeat Mechdusa. If it's your first time hearing this name, it's a secret getfixedboi seed boss that is summoned by combining the 3 mechanical bosses' summons into one item. You'll basically get this while completing Boulder Lord, so it shouldn't be a problem.

This achievement is very simple. You need to craft a Coffin Minecart, equip it and then ride it on some rails.

To get this achievement, you'll need to create a world with the secret seed "whatahorriblenighttohaveacurse" and equip the Vampire Vanity Set when it's daytime and you're on surface. You get the achievement when you start burning. Remember to not equip any accessories or mounts that prevent you from burning (umbrellas too) and to not stand in water.

To get this achievement you will need to follow certain conditions:

• You're in a world with "fortheworthy" + "05162020" seed combos
  
• It's storming right now
  
• You're on surface

If these conditions are met, then it will start raining boulders eventually. You get the achievement when the boulder rain has ended.

Die as a hardcore character and survive to tell the tale.

To get this achievement, you'll need to create a hardcore character in a world with the "celebrationmk10" + "constant" seed combo. Then you'll need to die, and here is the achievement. Remember that when you revive, the character's HP gets cut by 60. E.g. you have 100 HP, and after revivement you'll have 40.

‘Accidentally’ kill a friend with your tombstone.

To get this achievement you'll need to kill a player or an NPC with your tombstone. When you die, the tombstone flies, and if a NPC/a player gets in its way, they get damaged (only in Zenith seed). You get the achievement when they die from the tombstone.

Jam out on a six stringed instrument.

To get this achievement you'll need to get Ivy, Rain Song, Stellar Tune or The Axe and use it.
Ivy can drop from Steampunker.
Rain Song can drop from Flying Fish.
Stellar Tune can drop from Empress of Light.
The Axe can drop from Plantera.

Find the ultra rare Rod of Discord.

The in-game description of the achievement is self-explanatory: you need to get the Rod of Discord dropped by Chaos Elementals with a very small chance. All I can say is if you struggle with this achievement, you can get the Rod from an All Items world.

Spot the sun on a ‘cool’ day.

To get this achievement, you need to wear Sunglasses while it's daytime and you're on surface. Very simple. (They are crafted from two Black Lenses)

Discover a friendly boulder.

To get this achievement, you need to break a Star Boulder. The easiest way is on this seed: 2.4.1.64.2046115747

UPD: There's also a way of obtaining it by crafting it from a Boulder and 50 Fallen Stars on a Crystal Ball. When crafted, place it and break it with a pickaxe.

Get your villagers fully combat ready.

To get this achievement you'll need to use Advanced Combat Techniques and Advanced Combat Techniques: Volume Two.
The first one is obtained by fishing during blood moon. The second one is obtained by throwing a Spell Tome (bought from Wizard) in shimmer.

Become a Moon Lord impersonator.

To get this achievement, you should equip the Moon Lord set.

The head/mask is dropped by the Moon Lord himself.
The chest is dropped from Golden Lock Boxes, but only while opened in "fortheworthy seed".
The legs are in "05162020" or "getfixedboi" seeds' chests.

Scare your villagers with a stink bug sword.

To get the achievement, you just need to hit a NPC with Flymeal sword.

Give any villager a new look.

To get the achievement, you just need to soak a NPC in shimmer so it changes its appearance.

Embark on a one way trip into outer space.

To get this achievement, you need to reach space in "getfixedboi" world and die there.

Bring back the original title screen.

To get this achievement, you need to click the sun or moon in the main menu so the title screen and the music change. The simplest achievement in the entire update.

Craft the final upgrade to the Cell Phone.

To get this achievement, you need to craft the Shell Phone.

Research 50% of all items in Journey Mode.

Support sustainable logging by planting 100 acorns.

To get it, just plant 100 acorns on grass. Easy as hell.

Give the Dryad a can of Joja Cola.

To get this achievement you need to talk to the Dryad while holding Joja Cola in your hotbar. When you do so, a special dialogue button appears that gives you a Junimo pet and the achievement when you press it.
