The BEST Strategy To Win (Really)
Introduction
Hi! This guide will teach you the absolute best strategy to beat every challenge in the original Five Nights At Freddy's without cheating. All of the information regarding the game's mechanics written in this guide was datamined directly from the game.
If there are any errors in this guide, please write them in the comments. There's a good chance I won't update this guide however, so please check the comments before/after reading the main text in case I made a mistake.

Strategy
Setup
Setting this strategy up is very simple, all you need to do is open cams, switch to Cam 4B (A.K.A the East Hall Corner), and close cams. That's it.
Main Gameplay
The main gameplay loop for this strategy is simple, but requires speed and precision, especially for harder nights. First you want to check a door by quickly turning the light on and off and opening/closing the door if needed. Next you want to flip cams up and down very quickly, however make sure that the screen does appear for at least a frame, as flipping the monitor up and down too fast will cause a "0-frame flip" which will not work for this strategy. Next, check the other door, flip cams again, repeat.
When Low on Power
One issue with this strategy is that it uses a lot of power. If you find that you are running low and at 5AM, you can try to preserve power by checking cams less frequently and just checking lights.Explanation
Note: you can skip this section if you aren't interested in why this strategy works. This section just goes over how every animatronic is countered with this strategy.
Bonnie/Chica
Bonnie and Chica can only attack through the doors, and because you are checking the doors so frequently, you will catch Bonnie or Chica before they have a chance to enter their kill stage.
Freddy
Freddy's mechanic is that he follows a similar path to Chica, but can't move when you're watching him on the cameras, doesn't appear at your door light, and never leaves once he gets to the hall corner. However, Freddy can only enter his kill stage when the cameras are up, and if you're watching him he can't do that.
Foxy
Now Foxy is probably the animatronic you're confused about. You see, most people think that you need to watch Foxy's camera specifically to stall him. however, this is a misconception, as Foxy is stalled whenever you watch any camera, thus looking at cam 4B stalls Foxy.Tips and Tricks
Checking Foxy
Because the cams are flipped so frequently with this strategy, Foxy generally isn't a problem. However if you're worried about him, you can close the right door before checking on him in cam 1C, as the right door will block Freddy.
0-Frame Flips
I already mentioned this, but if you flip the cams down too fast after pulling them up, the game will not count them as being up at all, which won't stall Foxy.
Double Clicks
When trying to toggle the door lights on and off quickly, you might notice that sometimes the second click doesn't register. This is because Clickteam (the game engine Scott used for all the old FNaF games) considers clicking the same pixel twice in quick succession a double click, which doesn't turn the light back off. However, simply moving your mouse to another pixel of the light button allows you to turn the light on and off quickly. This guide was created by its original author on the Steam Community.
