The Rare/Harder to get Materia
These are all on the above lists, but these are the more difficult to obtain due to what is required to get them.
1.) Contain
- When you Have control of Cid in Mideel, give a baby white chocobo some Mimmett Greens, then rub behind it’s ear. Easily Missable.
2.) Under Water
- In the Under water Reactor, find a Sunken Ship enemy. Morph it into a “Guide Book” and return the Book to the traveller in Kalm.
3.) Alexander
- This one can be passed up if you don’t know what you’re doing. First off, when in the Great Glacier, find the Hot Springs and dip your hands into it. Afterwards, find the cave with Snow in it and defeat her. I would recommend looking at a map or a guide for this one.
4.) Knights of the Round
- The Holy Grail of summons, with a task just as similar as FINDING the Holy Grail to get to it. All you need is a Golden Chocobo to get to the Island containing this Materia. There are TWO ways of getting one; First you can breed one yourself (it is a lengthy process, so if you do not know what to do EXACTLY, look at a guide) or defeat Ruby Weapon and trade the Desert Rose to the Kalm Traveller. I would opt for breeding if I were you.
