The Finish Line (Maimi) Speedrun Guide

One strategy I like to use is not using any disguises or unlocked weapons and tools. Sure, bring a lockpick may help, but the only (real) door we need to unlock have a crowbar meters near it. The reason I don't use disguises is that our route takes us to the rooftop, where a disguises won't really help you out since some guards can still see through your outfit. Disguises take up our valuable time.

If you are playing a stock items no disguise run, you want to grab the crowbar even that means you are getting caught by the camera. Remember, this is not a restricted area and, surprisingly, grabbing a crowbar is not an illegal action. The camera requires you to erase the evidence later or YOU WILL LOSE YOUR SILENT ASSASSIN RATING!

When we finally reach the rooftop, we should already take out Sierra Knox and destroyed the camera footage. We have two options: The safe way and the risky way.

Safe way: Leave your gun on the counter/floor. When Robert Knox comes into the small room, he will see the gun and let his guard take it. When his guard is walking out, DO NOT KILL KNOX IN THE SMALL ROOM! You won't have enough time to escape to the helipad most of the time, so be patient and kill Knox on the terrace. Hide the body if the guard is not taking a smoke break near the helipad. If the guard is taking a smoke break, you need to wait near the window for him to move inside the security room. Break the door using the crowbar you got earlier and escape.

Risky way: Wait till the terrace door in a position where the door covers you. When Knox pass through, shoot at the corner of the small room ONCE. Make sure Knox doesn't hear the shot but the guard does. This strategy is VERY RISKY and probably won't work in Professional difficulty since NPCs now actually have ears. Anyway, the guard will go check and you need to kill Knox THROUGH THE WINDOW after you reach outside the security room. Hopefully they won't spot you and you get time to escape. This way is much faster but also easier to ruin your entire run. USE WITH CAUTION!

Extra notes: DO NOT KNOCK OUT CIVS! It's completely useless in the speedrun and cost you time (unless you want to hit the guy taking the smoke break.)

Entrance -> Underground Tunnel -> Plaza -> Race Observe Area-> Eliminate Sierra Knox -> Office 2nd Floor -> Office Satellite Area -> Lure Out Target -> Erase Footage -> Eliminate Robert Knox -> Helipad -> Escape!
