Destined and doomed to repeat the same Do’s and Don’t’s.Follow these funamentals and friend I promise you a faster and farther fulfilling start, in your first few hours you’ll have acheived what most average beginners acheive after 30+ hours of trial and error, and resets. The Gentlemans Approach
Read an IDLE build guide
Make an IDLE build
Do Nothing and Acheive Greatness
Hopefully at this point your only a couple hours in ( if not your wasting time being lame, record the macro and read the idlebuild guides )
Buy, or Save enough Rubies for the 2x DPS buy this before anything else top priority
Buy Only the initial Idlebuild Ancients ( After your first few dozen ascends your most important two will be +Primal Souls and +Primal Boss % )
First run buy your hero’s only as far as unlocking your 1-10 skills
Always purchase the most recent unlocked Heros
It’s always wiser to wait the 3 minutes to afford the New Guy than Spending what you’ve got to buy 2 or 3 of the current guy

Work your way up to level 160 get your Primal Souls and then Ascend
Do It again another 5 or 10 levels deeper Ascend

If its takeing more than 10 minutes to progress 5 levels Ascend

The Idea here is to build up your Hero Souls so if your spending them stop dumbass.
Each time you ascend those Herosouls are going to get you farther your next trip so don’t spend them

Pretty soon you should be wondering why that black guy DK cost so much

Ascend
Peons to Paladins
New Focus Forget the Fundamentals
Here on out
Your Peons are Paladins
Your Powerhouses are Pesents
Focus only on key upgrades that affect all heros or +gold
Always purchase 1 or 2 of the latest hero
Get Treeguy Boxerdude and The NextGurl up to 200
Get Gold
Hold Down Z
Buy Treeguy Boxerdude or Sherah x25 at a time
Not 1 at a time
Not 10 at a time
25 at a time nets a 4x DPS bonus
100 at a time nets a 4x 4x DPS Bonus
Work your way up to lvl 1000 ignoring everyone else
Level 1000 2000 etc nets a 10x DPS bonus
By now you should be sailing
Level up your +Primal Souls
Buy that guy that -Monsters To Next Level and Max him ( Only 5 monsters needed to progress cheap to max out )
Remember the 10 minute 5 level rule -Fight temptation to get “Just one more level” There are thousands of them
Pretty soon you’ll be in the Thousands of Herosouls stocked maintain a high minimum balance when upgrading Ancients
HS’s will always be more powerful than Upgraded Ancients So don’t Spend more than 1/4 of your current Herosouls on upgrades
Probably more like 1/6
During this phase your +Primal Souls and Maxing your +PrimalBoss% Ancients are hands down the most important early-mid game ancients +100% Primal Souls doubles primal souls recieved each 5 levels higher the drops increase ( 100% Primal Souls is The equivilant of ascending twice ) upgrade it at least until each upgrade only increases 1% think its around 320somthing% then forget about it till later
As soon as you can afford it Give all your Gilds to one hero ( cost 80 per gild to move to a specific target you should be past deathknight by now with plenty of HS banked )
Read the Gild Guides
Level your Heros and ReGild as necessary
Read the Calculating Ancient levels Guide Rule of Thumb Calculator or Spreadsheet
Purchase all the IDLE Ancients Upgrade Appropriately
Ascend a few times
Between Ascends
Purchase all the Nice Benifits Ancients Upgrade Appropriately
Between Acends
Purchase all the Skill Related Ancients Upgrade however you want
Ascend a whole lotta great many times
Buy the Active Build Ancients cuz what the hell you can afford them
Read an Active Build Guide
Try it out ( an Active build can usually shoot out 20 or so levels farther than an idle build but make sure to ascend before your done active playing, otherwise when your idle kicks in the DPS won’t be enough to phase those monsters you’ll have to turn off progression mode and manually go back 20 or so levels to be doing the right damage, and as soon as you turn progression mode back on it’s going to kick you back out to the highest level and you’ll get annoyed and say screw this chit, and hopefully ascend. )
So Remember If your in an Active mood
Ascend then play Active and then Ascend
If your in an Idlemood and ready to get back to real life
