The Hero Achievement Checklist

Dragon's Dogma is one of those games you always want to have a wiki open for. Plenty of obscure lore and items, and of course missable achievements such as The Hero. The goal of this checklist is to make the task of obtaining that achievement significantly less headache inducing, although I would still highly recommend using the wiki to make sure you find and complete quests the "right" way.

In case you are in the middle of a playthrough, you can check which quests you have finished in the pause menu, and they should be listed by last completed. This will include however many notice board quests that are not required for The Hero achievement, even if they are somewhat necessary for their own achievement, The Laborer.

You will require a Google account, although chances are you most likely already have one. Then after opening the sheet, select File and Make a Copy. You will then possess your own copy of the checklist that you can modify and keep somewhere either in your browser or inside the Steam Overlay.

All you need to do is use the dropdown buttons to select a quest's status in your playthrough. Completed quests will appear green and failed will appear red, the same way they do in-game. Looking at the Deadline and Requirements columns will help you determine whether a certain quest you might not even know about is already failed or still available at this time.

You can check the number of quests you completed or missed at the bottom. Don't worry if you have failed several quests, you will need multiple playthroughs in order to fully enjoy the endgame content anyway !

For fewer annoyances, remember to save often or to load a checkpoint if you accidentally let an important NPC die, and plan your routes ahead of time if you lack optimal Portcrystal placements.
