Spamming Star Destroyers Without Fighter Support

The art of deploying some of the most powerful ships in the galaxy just to not be able to hit anything smaller than a large city:

Step 1: Build large amounts of ISDs (mostly just ISD 1s because they are cheaper)

Step 2: Put them into a battle that looks easy to win

Step 3: Realize that the enemy has almost exclusively fighters

Step 4: Defecate Standard Imperial Uniform whilst all of your expensive destruction Doritos get torn to shreds

Step 5: Retreat and lose at least 2-5 ISDs depending on how quickly they get destroyed (or how many get their engines blown up or get Ion shot or something stupid like that)

Step 6: Wait until you get some fighter tech and attack again only to see that there are like 15 capital ships that are super easy to fight with ISDs

Go into land battles with lots of Vehicles but light infantry

A.K.A thinking Army Troopers can destroy anything with their squirt guns or whatever they shoot in the general direction of Rebels:

Step 1: Invest heavily in ground vehicles and ground vehicle tech

Step 2: Use the basic infantry because you spent all your money on ground vehicles and ground vehicle tech

Step 3: Lose all that money you spent on ground vehicles and ground vehicle tech because the basic infantry is made of something a little stronger than cardboard after sitting out in the rain and equipped with Nerf guns stored in a similar fashion

Step 4: Be salty about it in a Steam guide and learn from past mistakes by deleting the save file and starting a new game

Using ATATs to fight infantry

I'm not even going to do a funny step by step, I'm just going to rant here.

THEY ARE ATATS
THEY FIRE EXTREMELY EXPLOSIVE CANNONS
WHY CANT THEY JUST FIRE THE BIG GUNS AT THE INFANTRY
BIG GUN = BIG BOOM = BIG DIE
WHY
CANT
THEY
BIG
BOOM
INFANTRY
AGGGHH

Not micromanaging fighters in a ground battle

I hate the path finding AI for the fighters (and also the large vehicles but that is besides the point).
They are always very bad at getting good attack runs and most times dont even fire at things, just circling around them. Meaning that they must be micromanaged to even be effective, let alone keeping them alive:

Step 1: Build many fighters for ground (any type but the normal TIEs are cheapest)

Step 2: Deploy them and use them to target a nearby enemy

Step 3: Watch as they make one good attack run and then go on in another area of the battle as they circle around the enemy firing once or twice every few minutes

Step 4: Look around for them later in the battle only to find out that they died after not even destroying anything

Step 5: Not learn from past mistakes and do this every single time until you run out of the initial batch of fighters

Step 6: Repeat
