Things to Know When starting And as a Free to play User

Greetings I am making this Guide on my experiences a basic list of things you should remember as a F2P (free to play) User or Beginer if you can think of anything i should add just Put it in the comments and i will add it :)

First thing to Always remember SAVE YOUR GEMS Do not spend them on Cloths or saddles or plants or skipping stages.
They are very hard to earn you get some once a week if you log in once a day every day and its only 30

Save them for an Awesome Dragon
(I am saving for a Skrill :D)

The First thing your must save your gems for is the Improved Fishing rod it allows you to catch Samon so much quicker and more often the better Rod allows you to release Tension on the line so that the fish does not snap it.

Which can be sold for Coins which leads to Second thing.

The Second thing to remember is Every starting Dragon can be brought With Coins or gems so you can save up coins and get a second or third Dragon so you can choose the Nadder (Like me :D), the Monstrous Nightmare or a Zippleback to start with then get a baby Gronckle Egg for the Set missions (Unless you want the Gronckle they are lovable after all then you can get the others :D)
You just Need the Coins and the Right Lvl :)
You can earn Coins by Growing crops and Raising animals one yak two white sheep two black, 3 chickens are all i had to get my Gronckle egg, then some Crop plots then just go to Yohann's Board in the corner and see what he wants then grow it :)

BUT it is also possable to get a Whispering Death (ok i got it ages ago i don't know if the quest is still there) from a Quest yes its a reward for doing a Quest for Stoick :) (but your first dragon needs to beable to fly so get to training)

Eel Roasting

During your First play through you will be taught how to start this little mini game
You simply click on your dragon select the Right side option that looks like an eel :)
Now the first and most important thing in eel roasting is THERE IS NO TIME LIMIT so chill! take a deep Breath and Aim True if you might hit another eel and not the color it needs don't shoot instead wait for a good shot :)
( the game can still be a little buggy and shoot one your mouse is not even remotly near :( ) Second: Do not jump to early when the wave comes wait till its on your screen before you jump otherwize your poor dragon will come back down before it has passed :(

Thired: Do not Duck till you see the Terrible Terror's Shadow on the water on the right side other wize like the wave you Dragon will comeback when the TT is Right over Her :(

Now the main reason i Bring up eel roasting is because unlike normal play it does not use Energy or money infact you can earn Energy when you get enough perfict lvls (I think its each 5 gives you 1 energy) and you earn Dragon experiance and a few coins :)

The last thing is:
This Game LOADS ALOT Even playing the downloaded Version or the steam version it still has to get things from the server and even If you have been to an area and turn around it still has to check if there were updates. and this applys for your inventory the store anything so get used to these screens
but have faith it will load i play on a 67KB/s line so i know waiting :P



One last and very sad thing is there are alot of Cheaters in the High scores our only hope is that the Devs Actully reset them or remove the Things the hackers have done so the ligit scores can show :(
