“Twilight Strike” Overwatch Mission Achievements

"Snipe the soldier in the tower far, far away.:"

The tower is located to the right of the starting point, out over the ocean. You can see the blue indicator showing the operator has moved to a location to tag the target for the sniper partner to shoot.

"Take out two of the AA gun crews with special explosive events."

There are 4 AA guns on the map. From the starting point, there is one to the "left", one more or less straight ahead, a third over to the "right" (which will be important for the next achievement), and a fourth that is also to the right but is further right clockwise. Maybe not a perfect description. The two guns relevant to this achievement are the first two I mentioned above.

In the video the first location is the gun directly ahead of the start. The second location is the one to the left of the starting position. On our playthrough, my partner did them in the reverse order which seemed to work well in terms of avoiding being spotted.

"Blow up the soldier in the distant tower using heavy artillery."

This cannot be done in the same playthrough as "Coast to Coast".

As I noted in the achievement above, there are 4 guns. Going clockwise, the third gun (which is to the right) aims toward the tower (the same tower from the first achievement). After eliminating the soldiers the operator goes up to the gun and can interact with it to cause it to fire and kill the solder in the tower.

"Find and set up the MG42."

This is located in a munitions room that the operator can enter. It is on top of the compound directly in front of the starting point. There appear to be multiple places it can be installed. On my playthrough my partner installed it in that same place as in the video and it seemed to work well for later events.
