Ultio's ARMA 3 100% Achievement Guide

This achievement is unlocked after completing the "Prologue" campaign.

Die during the Prologue Campaign.

This achievement is unlocked after completing the "Tipping Point" mission.

This achievement is unlocked after completing the "Beyond Recognition" mission.

This achievement is unlocked after completing the "Paradise Found" mission.

If you've already completed Epilogue B, select the "Paradise Found" mission and click on "REVERT" or you won't be able to access Epilogue A. During the mission Paradise Found, choose the task "A : Regroup with NATO".

If you've already completed Epilogue A, select the "Paradise Found" mission and click on "REVERT" or you won't be able to access Epilogue B. During the mission Paradise Found, choose the task "B : Find James".

After starting the Showcase, go back to the first room, pickup the binoculars in his backpack (screenshot 1) and equip them. Get in the center of the main room (screenshot 2) and look for a cathedral roof (screenshot 3). Right-click to zoom-in with the binoculars and see the agent (screenshot 4).

This achievement unlocks after entering all four rooms of the Lars Blanken Gallery.

Get close to a label next to a painting and use Space to inspect label. Do it 19 more times.

The description of this achievement is tricky, you'll complete it in more than 2 minutes BUT you will reduce the total time with the bonus time. Check out the following video (credits Ceb Cin), it took him more than 3 minutes to complete the firing drill but he reduced the time by 140s just by shooting bonus targets.

Load CoF Blue 1 and follow this video (credits Tuff FishUK).

Open the Editor and you should this a "Tutorials" icon in the top-right corner. Click on it and a new menu should appear. There, you'll just have to click on all the tutorials, one after the other (you don't need to open/complete them).

Open Editor, select a map then use "CTRL+O", it will open the 2D Scenario Editor. Place anything on the map, save the scenario (name it "2D_*" or something recognizable) and exit. Open the Editor again in the 3D Scenario Editor (casual way), follow Scenario->Open->Mission and select the 2D scenario you created earlier.

Open Editor, place a unit and save the scenario (ex:CONT_ACHIEV_username). Click on Scenario->Publish to Steam Workshop. Give it a description, tick the agreement case then click on "PUBLISH", the Contributor achievement will pop !
Now place another unit and click on Scenario->Publish to Steam Workshop. On the left, you'll be able to select the scenario you just published. Click on it and press UPDATE, the achievement will pop !

Idle 100 hours in the Editor.

Open the Editor, place a NPC, right-click "Edit Loadout" and select a new Vest/Weapon then click on Ok.

Equip any weapon with a bipod, lay down and press C.

Visit the Steam Workshop and subscribe to any scenario then load the game.

Start Tutorials -> VR Training.

In Tutorials -> VR Training, you have to complete :

• Commanding : Movement
  
• Commanding : Behavior
  
• Commanding : Actions
  
• Commanding : Vehicles

Open the VR Arsenal (Tutorial -> VR Arsenal), equip at least 7 explosives (equip a backpack then a menu with Explosives will appear on the right) then click on TRY. You'll see 6 vehicles, put one explosive per vehicle, run away and select "Touch 6 Bombs" using the mousewheel. BOOM, achievement unlocked !

Open the VR Arsenal (Tutorial -> VR Arsenal) and click on the Garage icon at the top.

Select any weapon or uniform then press SAVE at the bottom and the achievement will unlock.

Open the VR Arsenal (Tutorial -> VR Arsenal), select Uniform and select "Parade Uniform" and click on "Try".

This achievement unlocked for me after completing all Showcases except "VTOL".

To unlock this achievement, just start the NATO, CSAT and AAF Showcases and exit the Showcase. You don't need to visit any stuff.

You'll get it while hunting for the other achievements.

This achievement requires at least 2 people (1 Zeus and 1 recruit). Create an internet game (MULTIPLAYER => SERVER BROWSER ==> HOST SERVER (INTERNET) => Map : Altis ; Mission : Zeus 4+1 Bootcamp). Start as Zeus and press Y. In Modules->Training you'll find "Bootcamp Stage". Place it anywhere on the map and select one training module (for instance : Infantry). Once the first training module is completed, place another Bootcamp Stage on the maps and select the second one (for instance : Vehicle). You'll have to tell the recruit what to do exactly and the objectives they'll have to accomplish in order to complete each stage.

Infantry Training Course tasks:

1. Obstacle course : Recruits have to finish the obstacle course in less than 00:01:25 ==> Advice : Run, careful not to hurt yourself
   
2. Grenade throwing : Take down 3 targets in 00:01:00 with the grenades ==> Easy, just don't hurt yourself
   
3. Firing a Pistol : Take down 10 targets in 00:01:00 with the pistol ==> Easy
   
4. Firing a Rifle : Take down 10 targets in 00:01:00 with the rifle ==> Easy
   
5. Engagement : Kill the four targets in the village ==> Have Zeus spawn a Hunter HMG for easy resolution
   
6. Return To Base : Wait for the truck and get in the back of its cargo

Vehicle Training Course tasks:

1. Bike Course : Recruits have to finish the obstacle course with a Quad Bike in less than 00:01:10 ==> Use SHIFT to speed up the Quad Bike
   
2. Vehicle Firing : Take down 5 targets in 00:01:00 witht the Hunter HMG ==> Use T to adjust the distance
   
3. Return to base : Get in a vehicle as a driver and go back to the spawning area

See Drill Instructor achievement, you'll just have to complete the Infantry Training Course without damages. The achievement should unlock after killing the last enemy during the Engagement phase. My advice is being careful during the Obstacle Course (don't fall), Grenade Throwing (limit yourself to the three necessary targets) and Engagement (have Zeus spawn a Hunter HMG to avoid damages).

This achievement requires at least 2 people (1 Zeus and 1 player). Create an internet game (MULTIPLAYER => SERVER BROWSER ==> HOST SERVER (INTERNET) => Map : Altis ; Mission : Zeus 4+1 Bootcamp or any other). Start as Zeus and press Y. Have the player press Y to ping you and press Space (as Zeus) to focus on the player. Do it 4 more times and the achievement is yours.

This achievement requires at least 2 people (1 Zeus and 1 player). Create an internet game (MULTIPLAYER => SERVER BROWSER ==> HOST SERVER (INTERNET) => Map : Altis ; Mission : Master Altis). Start as Zeus, place the respawn points for each faction then spawn a NPC. Go into MODULES->ZEUS, select "Remote Control" and place it on the NPC you just created, you'll be able to control it. Have the other player kill you and the achievement will pop !

You may get it naturally but if you don't, create a LAN game (MULTIPLAYER => SERVER BROWSER ==> HOST SERVER (LAN) => Map : Altis ; Mission : Zeus 4+1 Bootcamp). Start as Zeus and press Y. Stay on the map for the remaining time needed.

Before doing the VR helicopter courses, you should activate the Advanced Flight Model so you'll get both achievements after completing the courses. To change the Helicopter Flight Model, follow this : OPTIONS==>GAME==>GENERAL=>HELICOPTER FLIGHT MODEL. Set the variable to ADVANCED and you can start the VR Courses.

For this one, I'd advise using the STANDARD FLIGHT MODEL if you're not comfortable with the ADVANCED one.

You can go over 22 meters, but try and keep an average below 22 meters. I got it on Hillside Groove map (TT7), just take your time and stick to the ground as much as you can.

Opposed to what the achievement's description says, this achievement can be done solo. For this, create a LAN game (MULTIPLAYER => SERVER BROWSER ==> HOST SERVER (LAN) => Map : Altis ; Mission : Support 08 Sofia). You will be tasked with transporting team to a certain zone, do it 10 times in a row without being killed and the achievement is all yours !
Note : set the difficulty to Recruit.

Opposed to what the achievement's description says, this achievement can be done solo. For this, create a LAN game (MULTIPLAYER => SERVER BROWSER ==> HOST SERVER (LAN) => Map : Altis ; Mission : Support 08 Sofia). You will be tasked with "medevacing" team from a certain zone. To create this situation, try transporting (Task : Transport) 2 or 3 people from a team (don't wait for a whole team to get in your helicopter) and drop them at the designated area. 5 seconds later, you'll be prompted with a MEDEVAC task. Do it 10 times and the achievements is yours !
Notes : Set the difficulty to Regular. The MEDEVAC tasks can be done over multiple games.

Take as much as cover as you can when shooting, don't get hit or you'll have to restart.

This achievement can be done easily in "COF: Orange 1", one bullet for each target, no miss.

This achievement can be done easily in "COF: Purple 1", do not deploy your weapon (bipod) and do not rest the weapon (do not crouch or stand near walls where your character rests his weapon automatically).

Opposed to what the achievement's description says, this achievement can be done solo. For this, create a LAN game (MULTIPLAYER => SERVER BROWSER ==> HOST SERVER (LAN) => Map : Altis ; Mission : End Game 16 Kavala (for instance). You will be tasked with "Establish FOB", "Download Intel" then you'll have the "Pickup Schematics" task. Pick them up and the achievement will pop !
Note : set the difficulty to Recruit.

See Carrier achievement. If you do it solo, you can download intel 3 times so you'll need at least 2 games to get the achievement. My advice is completing Carrier then starting a new game to download it 2 more times.

This achievement's description is NOT correct, do NOT complete them chronologically. It is unlocked by completing the missions in the following order : 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 then 7.

Self-explanatory, during the third mission (Firestarter) of the Apex Protocole, search and destroy every stashes. If you're out of explosives, you can just shoot them. Search every container and in the wood stock area.

The description is not correct, you have to be silent ONLY during the exfill phase (after killing the Vyper squad).

Set the difficulty to recruit and rush.

This achievement is unlocked during the last mission after killing Warlock.

Open the EDEN Editor and load Tanoa.

Open the map, keep CTRL+Left Mouse Button down and draw something by moving the mouse.

Follow this : Option => Game => Difficulty, change the difficulty and apply your changes by clicking "OK".

Open the VR Arsenal (Tutorial -> VR Arsenal), select Uniform and select "Special Purpose Suit" and click on "Try".

Open the VR Arsenal (Tutorial -> VR Arsenal), select Rifle and select any "ADR-97 5.7mm*" and click on "Try".

Open Editor (Virtual Reality preferred) select the "V-44 X Blackfish (Vehicle Transport)" (NATO) and place it somewhere on the map. Afterwards, select Quad Bike and spawn 3 of them near the plane. Select the three squad bikes and move them on the plane, they'll be in the cargo bay in the plane. Lastly, right-click on the Blackfish and select "Play as the character", when you've spawned use the mouse-wheel and choose "Unload all vehicles". Repeat it until you get the achievement.

Self-explanatory, you need at least 1 more player. I did it by hosting a game and playing with a friend. We did it from the mission 1 to 7 and we had to stop one time, so I suppose it doesn't need to be done in a row.

Notes : The Devil's Due achievement is really buggy. I'd advise doing the same as I did :

• 1st playthrough (Start a new game) : Dome Free ; Respectfully, Sir ; Status Quo
  
• 2nd playthrough (Load the save you made when you meet Keystone with the sample) : Man of the People
  
• 3rd playthrough (Start a new game) : Devil's Due (follow this guide : https://truesteamachievements.com/a2102682/devils-due-achievement)

There are many ways to accomplish this, either stealthily or exploding stuff.

This achievement is part of the Showcase Fighter Jets. When you'll have some targets on the ground, select the Bombs and use them to destroy them. I'd advise you save from time to time.

Manage to get your aircraft damaged (from ground or air forces) and retreat to the carrier, you'll also unlock Get Arrested achievement.

Follow this : EDITOR==>Map : Virtual reality (or any map). Spawn the Black Wasp II anywhere, right-click on it and select Attributes. In Object : Pylon Settings, change the "Custom" variable to AA/Cluster/Empty and the achievement is yours !

For this achievement, the developpers gave us these conditions to respect for each specific operation :

• The Peacekeeper: Make sure no supply crate get damaged. Plan your air drop location carefully.
  
• The Guerrilla: Don't use IDAP ambulance in the barricade. There are other vehicles you can use instead.
  
• The Redacted: Don't kill IDAP doctor. He'll return back to the church if you wait (the delay is shorter when you identify him).
  
• The Survivor: Reach the church unarmed. Picking up a weapon is fine as long you drop it and don't kill anyone.
  
• The Major: Don't execute any incapacitated enemy. Spreading mines has no effect on this, the situation justifies it.

Don't bother clearing the explosives (apart from the ones that come with the objectives) before "The Major" operation. You'll get in Oreokastro one last time and you'll have all the time you need to deactivate all explosives (the church ones as well).

The first one you'll need to activate is the blue panel at the entrance of the small village (Oreokastro, where you spawn), afterwards you'll see a yellow mark on the map showing you the next memory !

Save between each successful VR simulation you'll have completed (at the end of each simulation the instructor will tell you that there was no civilian casualties).

• Artillery : Wait for the convoy to move from the civilian area, then order artillery strikes on the convoy and it should be OK !
  
• Mines : Deactivate all the mines (except the ones in the wall) when you're given a mine detector and a kit. (note : it doesn't matter if you kill your friends at the start)
  
• Infantry : I left my squad behind and cleared as properly as I could. My advice for the first room would be to rush for the AK on the floor, this way the civilian won't turn as an enemy and you'll have no casualties.

This achievement concerns the second mission only. You'll have to complete the Infantry, Mechanized Infantry and Sniper Roles.

This achievement is a real pain, there are only 3 APCs BUT, as the artillery strikes are not always a hit, you'll have to load the game multiple times. The image below shows the APCs locations and the artillery strike area that I set manually (with radio controls). When you're all set, save the game with start the artillery strike. If all APCs blow up, congrats! Otherwise load the save and repeat until you destroy all 3. Just so you know, it took me ~30 minutes, pure luck. I've read some people spent 3 hours with this achievement.


The Beyond Hope campaign has two missions : No Reprieve and Avenging Furies. Complete them and the achievement is yours !

Self-explanatory, stay safe. I found it easier with Special Forces with Fait Accompli.

You'll have to complete the two roles (Infantry and Special Forces) for the two missions.

The Stepping Stone campaign has two missions : Fait Accompli and Disintegration Point. Complete them and the achievement is yours !

This was a bit painful to obtain but doable ! At the start of the mission, after killing the incoming enemies, rush towards the coordinates 209-098 (Screenshot 1), this is where the pilot will be. If he's dead at your arrival (if no Rescue Pilot task appear), restart the mission. Once you've saved him (check crates for Medikit), head towards East to 212-099 (Screenshot 2) to rescue the medic. Once you're done (save the game !), go to the ERV (Screenshot 3).




The Steel Pegasus campaign has three missions : LZ Nowhere, Breaking Through and Final Strike. Complete them and the achievement is yours !

Single Player Achievements

Finish the three operations (Lost Horizons, Salient Force and Terminal Defiance) from the Altis Requiem campaign by minimizing civilian casualties and you'll get the good ending, enabling you to go home.

For this achievement, you'll have to destroy at least 4 tanks.

For "Easy Money" the absolute easiest method I found was that instead of trying to act as gunner yourself, just let the AI be the gunner. Press T to set targets for the gunner, and activate manual firing from the scroll menu so you can shoot whenever the enemy tanks are moving at a steady pace. The AI is way faster and better at leading shots than you are. Just dont shoot if they're turning, slowing down or speeding up.

Select Eden Editor, choose any map. On the right side, click on Assets->Object->Independent (Green square) and type Nyx. Drag and drop anywhere on the map then select the Commander on the left side (Entities), right click on him and select Play as the Character. Let it run for three hours and you'll unlock "From Within", "Commander" and "Size Doesn't Matter".

Either you do it properly or you can download this workshop mod. Follow the instructions and you'll unlock it.

Find a friend and spend 24 hours with him/her in a tank. It's a cumulative achievement, you can do it in multiple times. If you want to check your time in the tank, access the completionist.me website (legit achievement hunting website) and check your progress.

You have to finish the Showcase with hostage and soldiers alive (1 hostage + 3 soldiers).
